Upon arrival, the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The reception staff greeted me with warm smiles and provided all the necessary information about the hotel's facilities and services. My room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Unfortunately, the view is not very nice. The amenities provided in the room were of high quality and luxury. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety. The hotel's location was conveniently situated near major attractions, restaurants, and public transportation, making it easy for me to get around and make the most of my trip. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful , one of the most beautiful views , great staff , great location , the only thing about this hotel I think it could do with a revamp it’s looking a tried in the rooms .

Our room was the very last room at the end of the farthest building. It had a dirty rug and needed updating. Good things are the room was spacious and views very pretty.

We enjoyed this property. Behind it is a beautiful promenade that links many other hotels and properties along the water. This has so many restaurants, cafes and shops. It was very convenient, plus there’s a bus stop nearby where we took the bus to the Old City several times on our trip.

Wonderful experience at the Royal Princess. Staff was great as was the morning breakfast buffet. Surroundings were gorgeous. Everything overlooks the Adriatic Sea. The promenade was a delight to walk every day to Lapad with numerous restaurants and stops along the way. Staff could not be more friendly and accommodating. Would stay in a heartbeat again.

My review has been clouded by an issue we had with the room we were given - a leak from the shower room into the main room meant the carpet was wet when we walked into the room and there was a bad odour. We reported this on our second day and a maid came to the room to put an air freshener onto the carpet! We complained twice more and were ignored. This was supposedly a 5* Hotel. Breakfast was very poor - tasteless fruit and an off selection.

The stay was fantastic! It is a really lovely resort and so good to be able to use the facilities of all the neighbouring Royal properties with ease. Loved the location and views. Very easy to get into town and breakfast was incredible!

The Royal Princess is located on a beautifully manicured property with absolutely stunning views! The breakfast is very good with many choices. We found the location to be perfect. It is tucked away enough to be quiet and have a resort-feel. The property is located on the promenade which connects you to Lapad Beach which has many restaurants and a very nice beach. The walk to Lapad is only 15 minutes and is nice and scenic. You can also hop on Bus 6 which you can catch from a bus stop 5 minutes from the property and get dropped off right in front of Old Town Dubrovnik. We highly recommend the Royal Princess and would not hesitate to return!

There was nothing to fault with hotel. Location was great, rooms were nice and big and staff polite and friendly. I think however that in booking a 5 star hotel I was expecting something a little more exceptional. This felt more like a good 4 star hotel than the 5 star experience I had hoped for. Some of the decor felt a little dated, room facilities could be moderninsed (i.e. some USB sockets), TVs offered very limited channels and were really hard to work, breakfast was very average and the gym was stiflingly hot. I had also mentioned that we were arriving on my wife's 40th birthday and for our honeymoon - there was no obligation for the hotel to do anything about this but I'd half expected a small acknowledgement. When booking accomodation for special occasions before, I have often been greeted with something like a bottle of fizz on arrival. Its just these extra little touches that can set a hotel apart that were missing.

The Royal Princess Hotel was fabulous. The views from our room was breathtaking. Both Ana’s at the front desk were wonderful along with all the rest of the staff. The bus stop was a short walk from the hotel and there were many dining options close by.

Very friendly and professional staff, location and view are excellent. The hotel and the area were quiet in this winter period which was perfect and relaxing. The room was beautiful and the breakfast nice as well. Parking options are a bit limited if the hotel is full and the gym equipment needs to be modernised. In any case this is a wonderful 5 stars hotel, with exceptionally warm and friendly staff, and we will be happy to come back.

Overall, my family and I enjoyed our stay. The property was in very good condition. Overall, the staff were very helpful. I was impressed the hotel noticed it was my husband’s birthday while we were there, and they left a card entitling him to a glass of prosecco and a slice of cake in one of the restaurants. It says there are beaches on the property, but these are really rocky areas where you can get into the sea either using metal ladders or by walking over slippery rocks. There was no area that I could safely enter the sea with my daughter. There were many pool options, though. It would be very helpful if there was a small store on the premises for things like drinks, medicine, etc. The food was really average at best. The lunch options were basically the same at different restaurants with hugely differing execution of the same dishes. At the steak restaurant the dry-aged beef was priced per kg, so I asked the average weight. I was told 800g for ribeye and 500-600g for sirloin. When the bill came, the ribeye was 1.24kg and the sirloin was 800g. At about 80 and 66 euros a kg, that greatly affected the bill. This wouldn’t have been quite as terrible if it wasn’t the toughest steak I have ever had in a restaurant. The Mexican restaurant was fast-food quality at best. Although it looks like a lot of complaints, I would stay there again. I would just plan on eating off site for dinners, which would have been difficult this trip due to my daughter’s age.

The perfect stay
We had a great time during our 2 week sty. The service is excellent, breakfast was great and one could not ask for more sunshine! We found two nice restaurants - Komin about 2 minutes walk (try the under the bell special but call ahead 3 hours) and Orham (seafood) just before entering the old city. Great views and food at Orham.

Fabulous location - stayed in a Deluxe King Suite which had separate living area, large balcony with great sea views and a very comfortable bed. Promenade walk from the hotel into Lapad is spectacular.
