Door was malfunctioning and not locking. I reported to front desk and they said they could not switch me rooms until manager arrived. I was the only car in the parking lot. I asked what they suggest I do as I’m not leaving my stuff in an unlocked room. The desk man said to put a hand writtten do not disturb (they don’t have any normal ones) on the door and no one should go in there. The man behind the desk left it unattended promptly at 10am since his shift ended. When I called the manager to see if he’d be in to assist me like the front desk said, he said “maybe, I have some other things to do”. I basically packed my stuff up in disbelief in how terrible the whole experience was and rushed to another hotel.
