Where to start.......

Reception staff were lovely, room was a bit out dated and everything seemed out of place and wonky.. Maybe that's just my OCD...
Bed was comfortable when on your own side, however it was 2 single beds pushed together that eventually formed a gap inbetween, causing my partner and I unable to cuddle.. We did not like this....
Alarm system needs looking at as fire alarm went off at 11pm as someone had a shower..
We went for a meal in the conservatory restaurant. Although we kind of ate and left as wasn't all that welcoming.... Now I know it was Valentine's Day and all but was there any need for the bar maid to be drooling over her phone all night? Every time we looked around her thumbs were going or taking phone calls... Not good!!
The male who served us would benefit from a hospitality course or maybe a job where he doesn't have to be bothered by customers... we walked to the door of which he (what we thought) kindly opened and he said can I help you, we said is this the restaurant, he just replied 'Yes' and stood there looking at us so we had to ask if it was ok to come in.
He then just walked off, so we had to follow and ask if we were to be seated or just seat ourselves. Meal was absolutely lovely. Well done to the chefs... Highly recommend Gourmet Burger, was so big I could only eat half! Partner had Gammon which he thoroughly enjoyed..
Due to getting engaged whilst there, the rest of our visit was absolutely delightful.
