Really disappointed

Posted Mar 12, 2016
We stayed at the same hotel but in Aberdeen it was lovely so we thought we would try this hotel while down in Dudley. The hotel was very run down the room was so small. The taps and toilet handle was falling off bathroom wasn't clean and it really could do with a good refurbishment. The bed was awful rock solid and on wheel so it would move even if you leaned on it slightly. The bed covers never even fitted the bed properly and the mattress was discusting covered in stains really awful. never stay here again very disappointed waste of my well earned money!!!

OK hotel. Shame about the added costs.

Paid an additional £5 for the pool facilities to find that the steam room was shut and the sauna was packed. Room was average with a view of a roof top. Lots of things went wrong but got a refund on the the whole cost.

Really delightful receptionist with a lovely smile

Posted Nov 6, 2015
Pros: Staff, bed, breakfast.
Cons: Only the marked dressing table in the room.
Location: Easily accessible from the main A roads- did not venture out of the hotel!
After a really long day, arrived at the reception about 8pm to check in and was met by a very friendly receptionist with a lovely smile! She was chatty, friendly and really helpful and made the check in process straightforward and swift. The room was comfortable, with a huge bed, my only slight criticism was that the dressing table area was quite badly stained and marked, which did not effect his functionality, but visually was a bit of a mess. Breakfast was excellent, helpful staff again, with a lovely fresh pot of tea provided on request. The selection of food available was of a good variety and quality-thumbs up all round-thanks!

Location: Nothing can do, but just I was enjoy relax of the holiday folks.
Nice place in hotel is really comfort! But I have rest some place of holiday... Unfortunately, bed pillow case I dislike feathers pillow case. Because I was infection from hayfever dust onto feather pillow since in 1989. It is problem with this difficult try sleep properly... is may cause really itchy on nose... and infect by hayfever start badly ill from feathers pillow case. I should told them need cotton pillow case for good health better than worst. Is lucky enough what supposed infect smallest anti-bug or eggs inside the pillow case. You cannot see, I have a science vision on the web-site about health and hazard for NHS talking Bedroom clean and infect feather pillow case inside a anti bug create into people hair!!! I'm got a towel to sleep with it anyway... It quite shame isn't.
