This is a very bad place there were literally rats behind the receptionist the rooms were terrible not safe smelly!!!! I literally walked out the property right away and I cancelled my room and I want money back! I tried reaching out to your support through your virtual agent but I couldn’t get this resolved unfortunately

Nice when on budget but..
Budget hotel so you get what you pay for. Please note in the heat of summer, not to stay their top floor rooms. Customer service was OK.

Central. Access to tram and other city links. Staff is a bit slow and can keep you waiting for a surprising amount of time. Room is fine. Lights are a bit limited (bed side light is very weak). Contactless checkout.

Good a&o - simple but clean and covering all the basics. My room was heading to the back side and was quiet, with a view to large open area and a partial view of Rheinturm. The location isn't the most central but still within c15min walk to both the train station and the city centre.

Worst hostel ever(Drunks Place)
I have been traveling since I was 18 years old, and this has undoubtedly been the worst place by far, I only stayed 3 days and I had to leave after the second because it was terrible! I will not extend, but 30 minutes after arriving I had to change rooms, because they had been confused, after a tiring day My new roommate, came drunk at 4:30 in the morning waking us all up and filling the room with an unbearable edor, the second day the same thing happened and I went to complain, the little they did was give him a talk, and he stayed with us, bothering all night with sounds and alarms, in addition to me he didnt stop moving my bed The people from another rooms disturbing us until 5AM, and we couldn't sleep, with sound and uproar Finally, on that place the covid rules aren't applicate... Just embarrassing!! I hope that will close this place as soon as possible Really unlucky my trip here, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone under any circumstances

Overall, good place to stay!
Overall, the hotel was very good. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. The location was good, still a bit of a walk to the train station but there is a grocery store and Ko street near by. The grounds could have been kept a bit cleaner, and the check in could have gone a bit smoother, but overall good place to stay!

I had a single room with bathroom and I was pleasantly surprised at everything. The room was more spacious than I thought and it had a cosy sitting nook in the corner near the tv. Included linen and towels as well as hand soap and body wash / shampoo. Hair dryer was also there which was a plus. WiFi was working well. Check in and check out nice and easy. About 15 mins walk to the main station. A few supermarkets just around the corner. All in all, I had a great experience and would def come here again. Just note one thing, it’s on a main road, so I suggest bringing earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. I had a really good sleep.

Awful staff
Stayed at severaal A and O hotels in private rooms and generally its good value and clean. However i have never experienced such deliberate rudeness and abruptness from staff as here. At check in i didnt get so much as a hello and my key thrown at me. The 2nd and 3rd experiences, one at checkout and one for a key pass with different staff werent any better. Different staff, but all go out of their way to be as unpleasant, rude and dismissive as possible, so it must be company policy. It isnt a bail hostel and they arent jailers, its a hotel in a city centre, surrounded by competetion and their to serve its customers. They woukd do well to remember that. I dont get why people is a facing customers service role fet away with being so unpleasant, if seeems counter intuitive. For that reason i wont stay here again, ill stay at the tryp, presse or bahn hotels close by that ive stayed at before. All similar rates and treat you like a human being. As for a and o staff, frankly a bunch of utter d*cks imo.

Great location within walking distance of many sites and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. My booking said it included breakfast, but the hotel did not have that in the reservation. It might have been a misunderstanding on my part, but when I showed them my confirmation and booking description, they honored it and gave us breakfast anyway. Overall, very pleased with our stay.

A basic hotel but this reflected in the cheap price. Very clean, the staff were efficient and helpful, a good take on social distancing, good location, no complaint for no frills stop over.

Good stay.
Walkable to main station (15min) and shopping area. Toilets were exceptional, however bed frame was slightly dusty. Reception/lounge area was fantastic. Free luggage hold too but at your own risk.

Mehr Hostel als Hotel... Dusche sehr schmutzig... Alles irgendwie unhygienisch, Löcher in den Wänden... Kippfenster an Dach nur komplett zu öffnen, so dass man Angst hatte es offen zu lassen. Für Teenager die nur günstig übernachten wollen und Sauberkeit keine Rolle spielt bestimmt ideal.

Good accommodation if you’re just looking for a bed. Our first room wasn’t cleaned. We did get a new room when we mentioned it. In this room not all beds were made and the floor was very sticky. The hotel smelled like cigarette smoke.
