A few things to keep in mind when booking this hotel, in the winter the AC does not work and it just gets insanely hot in the rooms and you can do nothing about it. Also the breakfast is expensive considering you’re getting a Hilton continental breakfast American style. Hotel is 5/10

Ideally located for Christmas Markets.
Welcoming staff. Comfortable beds and pillows. Great shower. Good choice at breakfast. Good choice of drinks at the bar although sitting area quite small. Very close to old town and numerous bars and restaurants. Close to bus stops and train stations. The only drawback was the wifi which was somewhat temperamental. However would definitely stay there again,

Lovely clean, modern hotel in an excellent location. Minutes walk from man restaurants, shops, bars etc. Car park next door if you have a car. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Stayed at this hotel a few times for Business and pleasure and it never disappoints! Bedroom really comfortable! Great location right in the Old Town. Looks especially fabulous decorated for Christmas.

Great hotel in a perfect location
The hotel was selected for the location near the old town and it was an excellent choice. The bedroom and bathroom was large an comfortable with an exceptionally comfortable bed. I had breakfast before leaving which was good value with hot and cold choices available. From the minute I checked in the customer care was perfect, staff were friendly, professional and obliging at reception and the waitress at breakfast. Thanks also to Kim at the reception desk for her exemplary manner and help.

Unflexible.
No Refund means no refund. Was grounded by Cardiologist after receiving stents. Missed first tradeshow since 1998. Just couldn't accomidate me. They Blamed Hotels.com for not being accomodating. Wonder what Hotels.com would say. Any guesses?

Perfect location in Düsseldorf!
We loved Das Carl's! The perfect location, in the center of the city. Right in Carlsplatz with local vendors and a market open every day! Close to Alstadt and also all the shops in Königsallee! Our room was lovely. The open window to Carlsplatz was a plus!

At the Heart of the Old Town
Great location: in the heart of the Old Town and next to the Market. As nice as that is in the day time- evenings were very loud and you needed the window open. If you have a room facing the street, be prepared for loud voices until the wee hours of the morning. The hotel was very nicely appointed and comfortable.

This hotel is a gem! The location is excellent in the heart of old town and right across the freshest day market. As for the hotel itself, it is a very nice clean boutique hotel. What makes it exceptionally great is the service and the professional staff. Each and every staff member is knowledgeable, friendly and very service oriented. This time it was a quick trip, but for future trips, this will be THE PLACE for myself and family.

Great value for money for a good hotel right on the edge of the Altstadt. Note however it was out of season and no trade show on due to CV-19, so not always this cheap.
