My Stay was horrible . Check in too way too much time . I paid around 700 dollars for a scam of a place, The menu for the breakfast did not reflect actuality , no AC. No net on the windows in case you want to open them .Customer service was not very helpful either . If you are looking for a do it yourself overpriced hotel , book this place , Your room is never cleaned and you have to get all your amenities by yourself. No front desk the lobby looks like it's in construction

Worst hotel in very long time
This supposedly 3 star hotel is probably one of the worst I have stayed in given the price and location. Price was over double of what it should of been. I was downgrade due to renovations but the hotel had ample opportunity to message me well ahead with this information. Room hasn’t been touched since the 80s. Lost room with not a lot of headroom and a pole in the middle of room next to the bed. TV didn’t work. Wireless average or below. I was offered a free breakfast (12 euro) so hardly anywhere near the compensation that should have been given. Steer clear of this charlatan.

Lovely hotel.only10 mins walk from centre and literally across the road from the tram stop and underground. Very helpful staff on reception. Lovely breakfast and waitress staff. Cleaners do bare minimum in room. We keep our room tidy anyway but Could of done with a dust each day. Would benefit with tea and coffee in room and some plain water as only sparkling available. Beds are soooo comfy 😍😍

Great location next to metro station and near a tram stop. Bar area was OK and staff were good. Room was big but dated with dirty carpet. Bathroom.... The shower cubicle was covered in thick black mould and grime.... I have stayed all over the world and never seen a shower cubicle in such a state.... It was that bad that my daughter refused to use it.

Stayed there for 8 nights. Every morning i complained about the fact the water at shower was cold. No fix, and they were not even apologetic. Bad pillows. Good location, particularly if you are going to Messe.

just a short walk from the station 20mins and the same to the altstrat only had a room option because we prefer to have breakfast at different places.2nd visit to the city this was a closer walk into the city than last year. would recomend

We were put in an attic room. The lift didn’t even go to that floor. The room was stifling and had no air conditioning. The room was grubby and room service didn’t do anything other than change the towels

Dissappointing
Television in both rooms did not work - reported on the first day but nobody came to see about it during our stay. On the first day we also reported an ashtray on our balcony that appeared to be full of sick. It was cleared the following day. Also a sex toy under the wardrobe - disgusting. Uncomfortable in rooms as very hot with no air conditioning - but we knew this before booking. Photos of the above can be supplied. The hotel is good value for money in an ideal location. Just a shame the service and cleanliness were poor

Lovely stay!
Nice long weekend in Dusseldorf using this hotel. A very nice place to stay indeed, room was very clean and comfortable. Dusseldorf centre about 20 minutes walk away.

Hotel is an old one apparently, with carpets and old-style decoration. It is okay to stay, amazing location indeed with good connections. However, the carpets need proper cleaning - they smell. Also, the laundry stays right at the entry of the hotel, making the lounge look horrible and even darker than it is.

It was lovely. Great location, wonderful shops / restaurant near by. Few minutes walk to the main train station. Rooms are comfy and relaxing nice and clean, and quiet. I like it. I am proud of Expedia for allowing such a wonderful business people to be associated with. 👍👍 I highly recommend this hotel to all. Whoever travel to this this.

Avoid in the summer - far to warm.
This hotel has no air conditioning and on the hot days we were there it was very uncomfortable. In this day and age I would expect air conditioned room in the summer just as I would expect warm rooms in the winter. The fan provided in the room was very small and totally inadequate. As. Minimum I would expect 2 ceiling fans. The decor and the standard of the furnishings in the room was very good there was a small fridge but no iron, kettle or tea making facilities. In the evening we were there there was only one staff member on duty, hence we had to wait to book in until the bar guests had been served. The location is very good, close to the Altstadt. There are public transportation systems close by but not with a direct line to the airport. A taxi to the airport was 22 Euro very reasonable.

Older style decor but exceptionally clean. The smart tv was not so smart!! It would not change channel and was stuck on a bible program. If you met me you would know bible bashing is not my thing......not so smart tv! Seriously, however the tv was frustrating. The towel change man wouldn’t take come back later when we had a lie in until 9.45am one morning!! However, desk staff very helpful and the place was very clean.

For the last three year we have been staying at your hotel, but each year it seen have gone worst. I do personally feel the owner should stay in the hotel and experience the stay, room 231 is super dirty the bathroom show, wet area is uncleared the shower heads not fitting or setting well, that room also smells n darks light not working, really looking this making the hotel a nice to to stay

The hotel was amazing value for money, it was well-equipped and clean. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We had breakfast on one of the mornings which was delicious and was very reasonably priced.

Great value for a comfortable stay
The beds are incredibly comfortable. It is in a quiet area, within walking distance of the old town. Taxi from the airport is approx. €20-25. Alternatively, 3 stops on the underground from the main train station and 2 stops from the old town. Fucshsen Alt have a bar and restaurant nearby with some great, traditional German food and beer. Breakfast is approx. €20 although we visit Kamps over the road for coffee and pastry.

Perfect location and a good hotel!
Great location for the aldstadt and the main station only a 5 min underground away. Smart enough hotel and the shower was especially soacious. Shame about the 4€ charge for bottled water in the room. Nice place though overall at a very reasonable ptice, would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for three nights while on a family trip,overall a pleasant stay,we had a room on the 5th floor,big enough for two of us,cleaned daily to a good standard.reception staff were professional,friendly and helpful.Breakfast although a bit pricey, it is all you can eat and drink ,so well worth the price.a ten minute walk through the park and you're in the Altstadt. A few minus points,the lift is very slow and only carries three people. The outside area on the top floor was in need of attention ie ashtray wasn't emptied for three days,some tiles had slipped from the wall,broken door handle!,although these points need attention they didn't spoil our stay.
