So glad I decided to say here! Great location, clean rooms, great staff. Can't complain about anything, except a side door that wouldn't open properly.

Comfortable stay and helpful staff

It was a comfortable stay. Nice to have a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator. The gentlemen that work at the front desk in the evening and overnight were very friendly and helpful. The pillows could have been a little more comfortable though.

Very little English spoken,

Pros: Not a great deal
Cons: Have someone at the desk who can speak English and who is happy to have another guest.
Location: NA
Check-in was late at night, fellow working at the desk acted as if I had interrupted his Spanish-only soccer special...spoke English in a broken way but was able to communicate that he was not particularly pleased to have me there by his brusque manner, and slow actions.

Run down hotel, shows age and overuse

Pros: Convenient location. That is the only positive I have to say about this hotel.
Cons: Everything needs improvement, absolutely everything!
Location: Convenient to Herndon and Reston area.
The only good thing I have to say about this hotel is that it was near the hotel where the seminar I attended was held, which unfortunately was sold out so I couldn't get a room there. The room was worn and run down, the towel rack in the bathroom pulling away from the wall, the bedding looked used, and I'm so glad I was traveling with my gym bag so I had my shower shoes available so I didn't need to walk around in my bare feet. And don't get me started about the filthy, dirty, food-encrusted TV remote control! The bed wasn't made after my first night (of a two night stay), and the towels weren't replaced. When I called the Front Desk to complain, I was told that towels weren't replaced and beds made until after a 7 night stay. I have never, ever been told that by any lodging facility, either in the US or overseas, even in developing countries. I would strongly advise travelers to stay away from this hotel. I'm surprised Expedia would even offer this as an option for lodging in Herndon. I guess no one from Expedia has ever made a site visit.

Overall, dissatisfied with the hotel

Overall: you get what you pay for. I wouldn't come back unless it was the cheapest around (think of what you pay for)! The good: lots of food places to ear near by, close enough to IAD and I'm sure other conviniencies are around the place. Floors were quiet, so easy enough to focus and do some work if need to. The bad: each one of the floors smelled as we exited the elevators and the rooms smelled just at badly. The bed was not to great, and neither were the pillows. We stayed at a room that has a full kitchen, yet no utensils/cutlery were in the room (which was supposed to be in there). Additionally, when I called the front desk to mention that the room doesn't have a coffee machine, he sent one up, without cups, coffee packages, sugar/creamer... sent over just the machine! They said they have "on-the-go breakfast", yet for the few days that I stayed, I went downstairs different times of the morning and all of the incidences, the coffee was finished and I had to request and wait for a fresh batch to be made (which i guess isn't too bad to get fresh coffee). The wifi was spotty and everything was slow. You saw the laundry room right before the front desk, with the door wide open and it was just displeasing to the eye.

DONT GO THERE

WHEN WE ARRIVED THERE WERE COPS THERE. THE ROOM WAS SOOOOO HOT WHEN WE GOT IN, THE AC DIDNT HELP COOL IT DOWN
