Excellent staff..nice rooms...clean. Allowed me to check in 3 hours early than my scheduled ck in time of 3pm. Allowed me to stay 3 hours past refular ck out time without an extra fee.

Beautiful hotel

Pros: Close to the airport and it is modern.
Rooms are very clean and not too small. very comfortable and I had a beautiful view.

Hotel was very accommodating to our short stay. We were able to get in our room early, which was what made our weekend so stress free.

Front desk was not honest

Overall not a terrible hotel. It’s clean. Housekeeping is phenomenal. I gave them 2 stars for the front desk lying to me on check out. I had paid for an upgrade that included breakfast as well as waters and dry cleaning for 1 shirt per day. I stayed 5 days and only took advantage for 1 day. I asked her at checkout if it could be changed to the per diem as I didn’t use all the days. She said that they couldn’t, which I understand and also I had agreed to the upgrade initially. What she said afterwards is what upset me. She told me the reason why is because the hotel cannot track what of the services I used, even though they require a signature with room number on each item used. When I received my checkout bill I was charged for the per diem upgrade (fine) and charged again for each item I used. (I.e. double billed) right after she said that they didn’t track the meals/dry cleaning/waters. Had I not looked I would have payed $40 per day instead of $20 per day extra. Her response was “oops”. Not very professional for what is supposed to be a better hotel. Will definitely never go back. Had it not been for great housekeeping, I would’ve given 1 star.

An Excellence that is Constant

This is my 4th stay at this location. The constant which I can depend upon is 1. A great staff 2. Superior comfort 3. An environment is Luxury 4. Superior device Each stay, every stay.... I highly recommend this Hyatt.

For the price it was disappointing

Pros: Not much
For the price of the hotel I would have thought it would have been nicer. Our bed only had a sheet and as much as we turned the heat up we couldn't get warm. Had a horrible nice sleep! Also when we ordered room service they delivered it in a brown paper bag. The food was average.

Koi Pond

Pros: Bed, koi pond, breakfast (except high price for it)
Cons: Remove sign encouraging people to feed the fish
Location: location was fine, we were just needing to be near the airport
My favorite part of the hotel was the koi pond in the lobby. When we arrived in the evening it was a bit noisy in the lobby because it was sort of a bar atmosphere with the tvs (two of them) playing baseball and football. But the next morning, early, I went down and sat by the koi pond when it was quiet and empty (except for a couple of folks setting up the restaurant and breakfast buffet). It was very restful. The lady at the desk was stingy with the koi food. They need to remove the "Share the joy, feed the fish" sign since the amount of food they let you give them is not even one piece per fish. The fish are big and gorgeous and the sound of the water is soothing. The food in the restaurant was fair in the evening (I had salmon) and better at breakfast ($5 per egg though!) The room we had was on the 7th floor. Nice view. Except for the toilet that flushes explosively, it was quiet. Everything in the room worked as it should. The TV rotated so you could see it from bed or the sitting area. There was lots of space to put things or surface work area. They also had a nice business area downstairs with several computers and workout equipment. Elevator was fairly fast. Those who waited on me in the restaurant were pleasant. Service was not swift, if in a hurry that might be an issue. Bed was fairly comfortable (king) with good mattress. Shower pressure and temps fine. Fridge in room quite small, but at least there was someplace to put food I'd brought with me.

Nice hotel by airport

Pros: The snack & personal items shop, the availability of snacks at the bar, the staff was very nice.
Cons: The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors.
Location: Close to the airport and close to Reston Town Center. We ate dinner at Mon Ami Gabi.
Overall, we had a great experience at the hotel, met and talked to other visitors, enjoyed the pool and lobby.
