Still need to fix all the pot holes in and around the building. Some areas have been redone but would have been much better if all of it was done at the same time, otherwise no complaints. Staff is always very friendly and the rooms have been remodelled quite nicely. Always have a great stay.

Staff was very nice but holy hell dont take the wrong entrance in out of 3 entrances only 1 doesn't have masive potholes that might mess up your vehicles

Not the nicest place you will ever stay at, but I don't need all the frills. It was clean, the rooms are nice, the gal at the desk was great. I would stay again at this price instead of spending twice as much for a prettier room. The bed was comfortable. GPS took us through a parking lot to get there.

Helen Keller must be in charge of this hotel. Parking lot is comparable to an adventure sailing the north Atlantic Ocean in the winter. The jacuzzi suite is right in the lobby and it looks like they hired the person they know"who can do that cheaper." There was a ballon in the lamp shade when we walked into the suite. Lots of crust and dust behind the couch. The bed was the stiffest thing ive ever felt, and i was in the Navy. Pool was closed. But i feel like thats the only win of this stay.

The facility did not look like the pictures. The facility was dirty and had a bad smell. The room was also dirty. There was broken glass and taillights in the parking lot. We left after 20 minutes and got a different hotel nearby. The staff was friendly though.

The parking lot and surrounding streets are in terrible condition! Good luck finding your way through this mess after dark. A few well placed signs would be helpful. When I mentioned the condition of the lot to the desk clerk, He said they just had it repaired and blame the neighboring business for the poor streets. I wonder what it was like before they "fixed" it?

I liked the pool. Hot tub was out of order. 😐 there was soffit missing under the roof outside my window that banged in the wind all night. The door in the back has a broken closet and it slammed all day and night if someone used it. My room was right next to it at top of stairs. Also lots of highway noise.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. My room was perfectly clean and the bed was comfortable. The location (at the back of the hotel) was quiet - except for the people in the next room who got up at 5 every morning and turned the TV on (but that can happen in any hotel). The room was a good size, with desk and chair and an easy chair, microwave and fridge. Water pressure was great, and there was plenty of hot water for a shower. The water out of the faucet tasted fine - I drank my 8 cups a day from it. The heating took a bit of figuring out, but once I did, the room stayed at a very comfortable temperature. The people at the front desk were as nice and helpful as anyone could be. I see comments about the parking lot in other reviews: there were a few potholes, but I had no problems in a low-slung rent car. I would definitely stay here again.

The Room was in great shape with all we needed and very clean. The only thing different was the breakfast area. We had to ask for breakfast items - it was only 8a.m. and there was no butter out, no boiled eggs and very few sweet rolls. First the attendant said it was because of the monthly budget, then she came back with some eggs and pastries, stating the construction workers staying there ate big before they left. We were also used to a warm breakfast (eggs and sausage) on the weekend and there wasn't. Thank you.

The immediate parking lot and one of three access roads were very good. The two other access roads were in extremely poor condition, and no way to know that till it was too late. Flashing missing along the roof and insulation exposed to the Duluth elements.

I stayed here lots as a kid, this place has gone way downhill unfortunately. The parking lot was still in rough shape, the hot tub still didn’t work after a year since we last stayed. This time the beds weren’t as awful, pillows were comfy. Upon arriving to our room, there were piles of dirt on the floor and it was sticky in a bunch of places. Had a good sleep regardless, and the price was okay for one night. We went back for the continental breakfast- the waffles are the best! We would go back for the price/location and waffles.

The hot tub was not working. The bathroom bar that holds the shower curtain was coming out of the walls and the shelf in the bathroom was also coming out of the wall and was a bit unstable

Everything worked and your stuff above everything else was friendly and nice. Was with my 5year old He found a pocket knife by the bed , seemed not been vacuumed for a bit , very loud as we were put on the main floor facing a resturant , hear the cars slam their doors or people talking , the walls are also thin as can hear peoples tvs or flushing toilets Asked for a room with a tub but got a handicapped room with a shower , also an altercation occurred across my room where staff yelling for someone to get out of their room , also my blanket had cigurate holes in the blanket

The Linen on the bed was dirty had to switch rooms. People were loud outside of our room all night. I was told our room was going to be reimbursed. Had not received reimbursement after 3 day so I called them and manager was not available ( I was told manager is the only person that can do reimbursements). It's been a week and still have not received reimbursement. Desk staff where friendly that is why I gave an average for an overall rating.

Find somewhere else to stay!
This hotel is very outdated. Got checked in quickly with courteous service, but as soon as we got in our room I wanted to leave. Smelled strong of chlorine (hopefully not mold from the ancient jacuzzi tub). The room was very large and clean, but the beds were uncomfortable and one of my pillows smelled like dank body odor. Typical grab and go type of breakfast with some cold hard boiled eggs, 1 toaster and 1 waffle iron, some cereal and yogurt options. I spent the entire time nervous that something bad would happen to us or another guest with some of the sketchy people I saw loitering around the hotel. I would NOT recommend a stay here.
