Location: On 287 and easy to and off road. Several fast food, also a Brahms and family eatery very close
Good location south of downtown. Beds are very hard. The shower is a nice all shell so keeps water where it belongs. Rooms are quiet. Standard a/c where it blows the curtains away from windows. Great staff so makes up for the minor room issues

Only stayed 1 night. Bed very comfortable. Were traveling by motorcycles and bad storms were coming. They allowed us to park our motorcycles under roof by front door. Even told us to move flower pots if we needed the room.

Nice hotelPosted Aug 17, 2015
We stayed overnight on our home from Colorado. King suite was very nice. Friendly staff. Toilet seat wasn't thoroughly cleaned, but great experience otherwise.

OK stayPosted Aug 16, 2015
Pros: Great breakfast, clean rooms
There were three of us, my wife and my grandson and myself. Expedia site offered a King Suite with a hide-a-bed sofa and was advertised to sleep 4 people. We took the suite, and when bedtime came, the sofa had no bed. I went to the clerk, told her the situation, and instead of furnishing a rollaway, she told me it would be $10 for the rollaway. No attempt whatsoever was made to apologize for the situation. I told her they should furnish it free, she said no. Of course, she was a young lady and she was talking to a young man, and I think she just wanted me to leave. $10 won't break me, but it still made me mad. Long story made short? I have stayed here every time I went to Dumas over the past few years. There are several good hotels in Dumas, and I DO have a choice. I can promise Day's Inn that the $10 charge will be the most expensive fee they ever charged. I'm staying elsewhere next visit.

Air conditioning was out on 2nd floor, not enough towels in from, but otherwise reasonable.

I won't stay here again.Posted Aug 11, 2015
I am in hotel rooms usually three nights a week and I've seen pretty much everything. My expectations aren't that high. I want a clean, quite, comfortable room. This room was none of those three. There was not a clean towel in the room. Every towel, the sofa and the comforter had either one or multiple stains. I had to go buy my own towels because I refused to use theirs. When I brought it up to the front desk and asked to talk to a manager I was told one wasn't available and that they knew about the stains because their washing machine wasn't working properly. I just shook my head and walked away. The one night I stayed was not a good experience and I won't come back.

Breakfast needs improvementPosted Aug 10, 2015 on Hotels
Nice hotel, overall. The breakfast service was not even close to the service I have experienced at very similar hotels over the past few years. More variety and more appealing hot dishes would be a starting point at improvement. Likewise, the coffee was weak and completely ordinary. Other hotels have more choices and the coffee is a richer product.
