Busy hotel but would stay again

Pros: Gym and pool facilities. Good-sized rooms and immaculate bathroom
Cons: Quality of food - breakfast had variety but maybe wasn't freshest produce. Meals from bar were ok, but prices were little steep given what we got.
Location: Good location for Edinburgh/Glasgow, Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel, Callander House etc.
Lovely hotel with wonderful views of local area. Good location, handy for nearby tourist attractions. Staff were all polite, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was ok and had plenty of choice.

Comfortable Hotel,close to motorway.

Pros: It was close to some attractions and the motorway.
Location: Location was out of the busy Glasgow.Falkirk,Kelpies and Stirling were close by.
We had a pleasant time,our only disappointment was some hotel guests on our floor,partied to 3.00am.

Not amused

The heating in the room was not working. Complained at reception, they arranged a noisy electrical heater. Rest of the stay was fine. Menu at the grill is bit boring, after trying few times. And there is nothing nearby. Breakfast is typically good.

Good hotel

Pros: As above
Location: Quiet area, but handy for Stirling and Glasgow.
A good hotel, with a clean room in a quiet area. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was of a high standard.

Mediocre hotel

Not great. A mediocre hotel and the rooms need a refurb. Woken each morning before 6.30 by what sounded like a drill on and off for about 5 minutes.

Wedding

Didn't make use of the gold facilities as we were up for a friends wedding but the limited time we spend there (over 4 days) we vet good although make sure you get a deal as it's not worth anywhere near the standard prices they try to charge

Relaxing stay

Quiet room bliss Bed was a bit bouncy but comfortable Breakfast was plentiful - Maybe tables with food be higher as too many children had easy access to play with food also coughing all over open displayed food - could adults be advised children are to be seated at all times in the restaurant or polite notice no children under the age of 12 near displayed food ? This would greatly prove breakfast experience for all customers! We ate elsewhere at night !

Good hotel in accessible location

Second visit with our adult children and will doubtless return. Generous sized rooms with all amenities (iron & board and trouser press!), lovely breakfast, helpful and smiling staff, good wi-fi, nice bar/lounge area. Pool area is a little tired and in need of a bit of minor improvement but still decent. Location is perfect for easy access to motorway network yet setting is peaceful with no intrusive noise. The only reason I cannot give full marks for comfort is the pillows, which I found hard and a bit lumpy. Restaurant is good but pricey and not a huge menu. This is an out of town location but within 10-20 minutes walk there is a small garden centre and a petrol station/shop which shares a site with a cafe (not tried) and Chinese restaurant (tried and is very nice and good value).

Comfortable stay.

The reason for our trip was to visit my husbands family. The hotel was warm and welcoming. Our room was a good size and the bed was comfortable The staff were very friendly. The bathroom could be improved if updated.

Quiet with high standards.

Lovely hotel - excellent rooms, very quiet, with excellent staff. One area of improvement would be the cooked breakfast buffet, which as in many hotels is tepid, flaccid and often far from full.
