Pretty, But Housekeeping Needs Work

The hotel has been recently updated, and is beautiful. The room was much bigger than expected, and I had a wonderful standing shower with a glass door and tiles up to the ceiling. The management staff is clearly trying to make an effort to improve the guest experience - they have a website on which guests can make requests. These requests were usually fulfilled within 24 hours. Now for the opportunities for improvement. #1 - the decorative pillow had a dried white substance on it when I arrived. In my opinion, housekeeping should have noticed this and taken it away. I had to ask for the pillow to be replaced. It was replaced the next day. #2 - coffee. I don't understand why, but housekeeping was strangely stingy with the coffee. I had to REQUEST for my coffee to be restocked, and the day I didn't request it, the coffee was not restocked. #3 - burned out bulb in the bathroom when I arrived. I requested for maintenance to replace the bulb, and they did they next day. #4 - despite the shower being beautiful, it is clearly not being scrubbed regularly - black mold is growing on the sealant, which can make some people very sick if they are allergic to it. All in all, an okay experience. I appreciate that my needs were eventually met, but am annoyed that I had to ASK for everything instead of my needs as a guest (clean pillows, filled coffee, working lights) being anticipated.

Easy to ge to.

Pros: I can't complain about anything. I could have had an extra blanket and pillow.
Cons: extra liimens.
Location: For what we wanted the needed we couldn't have been more pleased.
I was the 1st time we stayed there. Just a short drive to Wheatland Road. and where we with having Thanksgiving.. There was a gas station right there a Waffle house and a Papadduex. I liked the area we were far enough way from the main highway that traffic did not bother us. Very nice staff and helpful.

Pros: Convenient area.
Cons: More attention to detail when cleaning rooms.
Location: Close to everything you need to go to.
Always comfortable and pleasant. This time I noticed hair in the corner of the bathroom . Just a few strands not a biggie just need room service to pay close attention.

Limited hot breakfast, only green tea (not normal English breakfast) tea bags available at breakfast. Eating area could be laid out better
