How is this place rated 4.4? TERRIBLE hotel.

Pros: Nothing. I'll never be back.
Cons: Everything.
Location: No.
In a nutshell: Check in time at 3pm, showed up at 4:30pm...room was not ready. Clerk stopped helping my wife and I to check in a group of about 8 oil field workers that showed up in the lobby after us. These men then promptly went to their rooms with no problems. How were their rooms ready and ours wasn't? We were looking forward to a dip in the hot tub when we finally got to our room 30 minutes after arrival....out-of-order. Stained furniture and carpet in the room we were given. Refrigerator wasn't working and smelled of rotten fish. Bed was hard as a rock and extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast served until 10am supposedly. We showed up at 9:30 the next morning and they were carting everything away. This place was unaccommodating and an all-around terrible experience. I'll never return to another Best Western.

Dear Mumford, I apologize that our hot tub was under renovation when you arrived. We had scheduled it for a new plaster job. I know you must feel frustrated that you were unable to use it, but we felt it was necessary for us to shut down the hot tub to allow the contractors to finish their job so that our guests can enjoy a fresh, new hot tub. Our breakfast hours are posted prominently in the lobby. However, we try our best to accommodate our guests who arrive after breakfast hours.

We stayed overnight for an out of town family event. Staff was cheerful and helpful. Room was great for the money. Breakfast was great. Convenient location right off the highway. Easy to get to restaurants, pharmacy, Target, etc.

Great Hotel

Excellent hotel will stay there again when I go to Dallas again. I also I had an issue with my booking thru Expedia and the manager Robert took care of my issue. Great hotel.

My favorite Dallas area hotel

I absolutely love this hotel. I stay here every time I come to Dallas. My company always used to book this hotel for me when we were on per diem travel and I still use it now even if it's for personal leisure. I come to this Dallas area for work and I have some in-laws in the area. I've always thought this hotel was nice, rooms are always clean and on point. Breakfast, wifi, pool, gym. I can get a decent price and not have to sacrifice hotel quality. There are other equally great hotels in the area, but this is by far my favorite just because of the staff and familiarity of the hotel overall. If you're traveling for the government or military, call them and they will book you for that exact per diem rate. The only thing I think they could probably improve on would be offering for sale items. They have vending machines but it would be nice to go to the lobby and purchase a water or soda. I'm not usually concerned too much about the TV and things like that, as I'm always so busy in Dallas or working on my computer to even bother with it. But they do have the normal cable and available premium channels like HBO that you would find in most hotels.

Excellent. Room was clean, facility was clean. The heated spa was nice and an extra amenity. This hotel rates a 5 Plus in my book. If in Dallas area again we would stay at this hotel. Employees were helpful and pleasant.

Bedding smelled like vomit.clerk wouldn't give me a different room or change bedding. Was handed linen and told to change it myself. Manager said next day had would give me a refund but because I booked online it would be very difficult and I should have booked direct with them. Made me feel like I was being blamed for this.
