Perfect locationPosted May 20, 2017
Pros: Apart from lighting and parking availability everything else was Great. Staff location facilitiesall fab.
Cons: Parking availability and Lighting in rooms
Location: Perfect location - over the road from the town hall. 3 minutes walk to the octagon. Fantastic.
within walking distance to town. Parking not great - get in quick otherwise you have to find your own park on side of road. Lighting in the room was terrible. No lighting in ceiling just have to put up with lamps. An issue if you are older and eyesight isn't 100%. Perhaps complimentary jug coffee and tea in rooms would be good - Nothing. Possibly ask about the lighting before I check in next time.

Reasonably close to town centrePosted May 18, 2017
Pros: Close proximity to town
Cons: Slightly dated and worn decor, particularly the timber around the lift
Location: Octogan city centre and restaurants within easy walking distance
Very comfortable beds, with good blankets. Lovely view of city and sun in the room in the morning.

Nice hotel, walking distance to the city centre.Posted May 12, 2017
Pros: Just about everything.
Cons: The bathroom gets totally wet with condensation when you use the shower, it needs better ventilation. The fridge was a bit noisy.
Location: Short walk to the city centre where there are plenty of shops and restaurants, very convenient. Parking was free and easy access.
A nice quiet hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was warm, clean and comfortable. It was a very short walk to the city centre, which was great!

Paper thin walls, hotel needs serious overhaulPosted May 7, 2017
Cons: Room maintenance
The room was falling apart, water damage in bathroom, poorly hung doors. Un-stocked mini bar "because of too many disagreements with past guests" and when told no duty manager was on site when we wanted a bottle of wine. Staff acted as though it was their last day on earth. Wall were paper thin and you could hear everything in the next room

Much needed for busy meetingPosted May 1, 2017
It was very good, as it was a stop in for a weekend of work, hassle free and easy access for what was needed. Even a nice evening pudding that topped the stay off

Location was central to sights.Posted May 1, 2017
A 3 day memorable stay. I was upgraded on arrival to a large one bedroom with a balcony which was nice surprise . The location was around the corner from the Information centre in the Octagon , brilliant for making sightseeing bookings .

Good location, average facility.Posted Apr 8, 2017
The hotel itself was close to the city center and easy to walk to places. However the room was quite average, the kettle had mold in it and the shower faucet was old and crap pressure. Also the walls were very thin I could hear what was going on in the rooms next door to us. The beds were quite small and not very comfortable. The lighting fixtures were also very old didn't match and there was very little light in the room.

Walking distance to food and townPosted Apr 4, 2017
Located up on a slope, it's a mere 7 mins walk downslope to nearby food and coffee establishments and the town. Those with weak knees will face the challenge walking back up after a fun filled day. Thin walls and the relatively noisy bathroom fan may be a concern as well. Otherwise, it's a nice hotel in Dunedin.
