best location

Posted Jul 14, 2017
Pros: so close to all the landmarks and being quiet
Cons: let customer know they will be moved to a different hotel in advance.
I was hand off to Hotel Costantini one block away even I already paid for one night stay here. I stopped briefly for a rest at this hotel first floor lounge and stored my luggage. It looked well maintained and public toilet was clean. The restaurant downstairs was very good and quiet and I got 10% discount for being stay at this hotel or Costantini. Hotel Costantini was very good too, speicially WiFi at room and public worked fairly well.

Great location but bad experience

Posted Jul 9, 2017
The location is perfect! You are right in the middle of everything. We walked everywhere. The staff made us feel like we were truly inconveniencing them. We couldn't get a smile out of them no matter how hard we tried. There is no air conditioning either. It was cool at night and there is a fan in the room so it was bearable.

Pigsty of a hotel in a central location

Posted May 13, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: near the center of the city.
Cons: everything.
Picture a hotel where carpets are black with dirt, walls are ridiculously scuffed appearing like they haven't seen fresh paint in 20 years, where black mold is in bathrooms, and shower heads are stuck in the ceiling next to toilets without curtains so water spaces onto wood (more mold) and dumpsters are emptied into garbage trucks from 3-4 in the mornings and breakfast consists of rock hard rolls and terrible machine coffee. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this dump in the center of an elegant city.

Old and tired, cold and drafty, very cramped bathroom. Trickle of hot water coming out of the shower. Doing renovations........ Not soon enough for us tho' Cold buns cup of coffee and few biscuits is what you get for brekky On the plus side staff were friendly and linen was clean. Great location close to the Duomo.

Disgusting, smells, not clean

Posted Nov 30, 2016 on Hotels
I've traveled to Europe many, many times and stayed in over 50 hotels. This hotel by far is the worse one I've ever stayed at. Their advertisement is extremely misleading from, breakfast (which was only hard small rolls, butter and jam), to extremely foul smelling hallways and furniture, to a bathroom which was filthy and required the ability to be a contortionist just to sit on the toilet, just to name a few items. In addition, they demand you pay an additional fee, per person, per night, above and beyond what you pay at hotel.com.

Bottom of the list hotel but centrally located.

The hotel is centrally located for very expensive shopping and many of the local tourist sites. However the hotel is in desperate need of updating. Not nearly worth the $100/night I paid.

Absolute worst in our 20 day journey.

Pros: cheap beer
Cons: Really needs wrecking ball, then rebuild
Location: Fair location, everything in walking distance.
NO TV (even in lounge), no AC, no box spring, noisy, NO WI-FI anywhere except 1st floor lounge, breakfast is 2 hard rolls, jam/butter, imitation awful juice, poor machine coffee. Room has no soap, no shampoo, no blanket, bed is just hard mattress on wood slats. Last wall paint min 20 years ago, including last damaged wall repairs. Lobby desk worn to zero finish. Only 1 good comment: Canned beer 2.5 euro at front desk. You need a few to get to sleep on the rock. Can't lock windows, too old. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! PAY MORE
