Nice hotel

The environment was nice. The room I got was clean. There is a bar/restaurant downstairs in the lobby. The only thing I didn't like about this was finding a parking spot for my car. It took me 10-20 minutes to find a close by parking spot.

Weekend trip

Pros: Loved the location and the staff.
Cons: There were additional fees we were unaware of prior to check in. It wouldn't have changed us staying there but would have been nice to know ahead.
We stayed here for a long weekend. The room was very nice, and spotless. The location was good - technically, you could walk to everything we wanted to see, but it was a long walk. The metro station was 2 blocks away as were busses. Plenty of food options in the area.

Business Stay

Pros: Location was very nice near Dupont Circle. Walkable to where I needed to work and also walkable to many restaurants nearby.
My usual hotel picks were booked so I found this property and was a first time guest. All was as promised and the hotel will definitely go on my list of places to stay in DC.

Pros: Staff were really great.
Cons: Decor was a little dated, the popcorn ceiling stood out to me.
Location: DuPont location is great.
I always enjoy staying at Kimptons. This hotel is nice.

Friendly Staff and Great Place To Stay

Pros: It was very clean and staff was friendly.
Cons: The fridge could be re-stocked daily. We enjoyed the water and snacks the first night but were left without the remaining 4 nights.
Location: Location was great. Just outside of all the busyness of D.C but close enough to walk to the main attractions.
We were greatly by a friendly staff member (Zoe) who checked us in. Wonderful hotel that has a historic look with modern rooms.

Nice hotel in DuPont Circle

Great visit and stay in Wash DC. Easy walk to nice restaurants and Starbucks. We had five in a room and we had plenty of room. Even had games in the room for the kids.

Average hotel, very nice staff.

The rooms are tiny but I guess that's what we should expect for an NYC hotel. The hotel itself is very old but well maintained. Everything worked fine, except the shower had bursts of very hot then very cold water alternately. The bed was really comfy. Only complaint is that there was no whole body or big enough mirror in the room or washroom so you can't see your outfits haha

Good points, price and location. Bad points, restaurant is in midst of remodel and it is noticeable when entering property, very small lobby (which also is where breakfast and wine is being served so needless to say neither of those were impressive). TV cable was in and out most of the time, told staff but no fix.
