WiFi troubles

I stayed for three nights and finally by the last night of my stay I was able to access the WiFi. Other than that annoying problem, my stay was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The beds are so comfortable! The staff is very friendly. The food cafe is a bit pricey. Wish they had more options. Also no store inwith the hotel. I was told they will have a store in the lobby in an month. That will be helpful if you need anything. I would stay there again.

OK Hotel

Pros: LOcation, cheaper than other hotels is surrouding area but still quite expensive for the state of the room.
Cons: At least include internet with the high price of the room.
Location: Good location overall.
OK hotel, quite expensive for the offer and the room, plus charge form internet. Relatively good location which may explain the price-quality ratio.

One issue

Pros: The facilities, staff, most everything.
Cons: communications
Location: the location was fabulous. We would stay there again on future visits to Washington DC!!
We had a great experience with only 1 issue. After the 2 scheduled nights, we decided to stay a few more nights and even upgraded to a suite. We were told that if we come down to the front counter around 11am we would be able to switch to our suite. Unfortunately, we did not get our suite until around 5:30 that evening. The problem was that we packed all of our belongings up in the morning so we would be ready to move and then go out for the day. With the room not being ready until 5:30 we lost the whole day because we were afraid to leave the property and not be there when the room was ready. I should have known better but we reacted to what we had been told.

Close enough yet far enough away

Showed up a little after lunch planning to just drop off my luggage with the bellman, but they were able to go ahead and check me in hours early. Convenient USB ports around the lobby/bars for phone charging. Nice to be able to open the window in the room to hear the city. Great mattress.

Too big

Pros: beds were confortable
Cons: Internet could work better when there is convention or a big event , it s impossible with a taxi to get close to the main entrance
Location: too far from museums
this hotel is somewhat dated and needs a major renovation we had to walk quite a bit to get back to the central elevators

Perfect location! Nice outdoor space. VERY thin walls. You will hear everything from all of your neighbors.

Nice hotel in DC

Pros: Good service by staff. Nice lobby and good size room.
Cons: Remove the charge for early check-in and storing luggage and provide firmer pillows.
Location: It takes 15 minutes to walk to metro for people who walk at normal pace. Quite a few restaurants in the area.
I found the hotel staff to be very helpful. They promptly switched rooms for us when we noticed the safe was broken.

overpriced and in disrepair

Cons: the building is in disrepair. old and dirty
given wrong type of room and then told "sorry we do not have any other"

It is an old facility which is not even accessible for a decent coffee.
