Basic overnight place to stay.

Cons: WiFi connection
Location: Stayed to go on the train.
Clean enough. WiFi a major issue. Night staff not much help. Day manager did her best.

conveniently located

Pros: convenient location
Cons: It needs painting inside as it's peeling off, and overall updating.
Location: there are so many things to do in Durango. A very excellent place to visit.
Overall we were fortunate enough to be located in the back part of the Travelodge, but the noise from various loud cars early in the morning, was not pleasant. This is not a problem of the hotel itself, but it was for us. After being at other hotels in other areas, we thought this one lacked personality, lackluster people at the desk, and the room was clean, but lacking in comfort (the pillows, etc.).

Adequate accommodation

Bathroom fawcett was not working properly. Very ordinary place to stay. Breakfast was adequate but uncreative

first room smelled

first room had peculiar oder. second room (upgrade) TV remote didn't work.

We do have a problem with our TVs, but it no excuse. We are in the process of upgrading, but it's taking some time. I apologize that you had trouble with the TV in the room.

Staff was pleasant. Pillows were the lumpiest I've ever seen

I'm sorry that we did not get them to your room prior to your stay with us. Your comments are very helpful, as they help us know the areas of service that need to be improved. We do appreciate you staying with us and hope that you will return. I promise, the new pillows are far more comfortable.

Rude front desk staff

It's not my fault you have to work at a crappy hotel so you might want to have a front desk staff meeting about ways to avoid passive aggression. I was treated like an unwanted invader rather than a guest.

I ask that you give me more information so that I can address this with the front desk associate (FDA) that you encountered. Your date and time of arrival would help me figure out which FDA handled your reservation.

The Travelodge seemed very old and in need of a lot of repairs. It was clean enough. I would not stay there again.

We are in the process of upgrading our rooms, so I do hope that you will give us another opportunity if you return to Durango.
