Close to the trainPosted Sep 24, 2015
Pros: Close proximity to the train station, which is the only reason to go to Durango.
Cons: Attitude of the staff, as well as coffee and cookies in the lobby. There was Nothing offered.
Location: Train trip to Silverton and many fine restaurants and shops within walking distance.
At check in the clerk was very uninformative, we didn't know where the breakfast buffet was, where we were to go for complementary cocktails, or where the ice machine was located. He actually seemed bored and as if we were bothering us. I could hear people walking in the middle of the night and a large tour bus was idling right by our door at 6:30 in the morning for over half an hour.

Like most things in Durango, it's overpriced but it was comfortable, clean, and the staff was very helpful. The location helps with the value of the hotel...could walk all over downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location disapointing cleanlinessPosted Jul 30, 2015
Pros: The pool and hot tub were fun for the children, the evening snacks were fun and the breakfast handy.
Cons: The room we had needed a total refurnishing.
Location: All of downtown Durango.
The suite room was spacious but the carpet was old and worn, the sofa pull out was from the 1970s. The fabric on the sofa was worn through. I covered it with a sheet to sit on as I felt it was not hygienic enough to sit on.

Bon hotel mais commence a vieillirPosted Jul 24, 2015
Bon hotel , mais les chambres devraient être rafraichis. Rapport qualité / prix moyen. La salle de bain est seulement isolé par un rideau de la chambre

Delightful stay in Durango.Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Friendly & helpful staff. Very clean & comfortable. Huge indoor pool. Full breakfast & happy hour included. Kid friendly.
Cons: We loved everything.
Location: Close to train, restaurants, rafting, shops, attractions. Near Mesa Verde National Park. Beautiful year round mtn scenery.
We were in Durango to take grandchildren on the train ride.

Over pricedPosted Jul 8, 2015
There was hair on our sink. Wifi password was not provided. Swimming pool had too much chlorine! It burnt my daughters eyes. Maintenance man obviously doesn't know how to control the chemicals! Front desk staff would not smile. They were not even polite. I felt I was in a cemetery .

I've stayed here before and would stay again. I like the location and how close it is to many wonderful restaurants and stores.
