Nice hotel close to our destination.

Pros: Convienence
Cons: Morning attendant paying more attention to the customers then her phone.
Clean and conveinent. Went for the continental breakfast arount 8:45 am and only had coffee because they were out of pastries. The attendant at the desk was on the phone the whole time I was there drinking my coffee and looking for some pastries to eat.

Best knights inn I've ever stayed in!

Posted Aug 2, 2015
Very quant looking motel on the north side of Durango near two other quant motels of similar vintage. The room was clean and bed comfortable. It lacked a pool/hot tub, but the staff was super friendly and they catered to motorcyclist with old towels an a hose to was the bikes.

The Price is Right

Posted Jul 24, 2015
Pros: The clean room and comfortable beds. It was easy to get to all the town attractions.
Cons: The major problem was the noise and creaking from the upper rooms plus loud showers. There was also black mold on the shower ceiling.
Location: The Durango/ Silverton Narrow Gage Railroad was an awesome experience plus a 30 Mile drive to the Mesa Verde Cliff Dwelling Site is terrific.
The room was clean and comfortable. The Motel is close to all the city attractions. Not bad for the price!

Better than the first impression suggests

Posted Jul 18, 2015
Cons: breakfast
I was concerned at check-in because the lobby reeked of cigarette smoke. The room, however, was immaculate and odor free. The room has windows that open which was wonderful. Take advantage of the trolley! It's only $1 & so much better than dodging pedestrians while looking for a parking space downtown.

Ground Floor Bathroom Window could not close.

Posted Jul 17, 2015
Pros: Nice hard working people.
Cons: Hotel is old and could use complete renovation.
This is an older hotel, works ok for low cost room. People are nice with small complimentary continental breakfast. Needs some maintenance such as painting or resurfacing walls. The ground level bathroom window would not close and could gave us low confidence in security of room.

Beds were uncomfortable-especially pillows. Room looked clean on the surface but question cleanliness. No coffee maker in room. No clean towels-wash cloths given 2nd day.

Adequate for what you pay

Posted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: The room was pretty big and the area seemed safe. There are half million dollar houses two blocks away.
Cons: Clean but stained bedding.
Location: Durangonhas alot going on. Prosperous and busy
Quick check in, easy access to room. A little far from most restaurants. The room was clean enough. We left early so can't comment on breakfast but it didn't look like much.
