![We stopped by Durham today as part of a University Open Day visit and took some time to also explore the town.

“Check-in was quick and easy as someone was at the desk but there were times I would have liked to ask a question of a staff member but there was no one around. I would also like to have had a suitcase stand rather than have it opened on the floor. I don't like to us the bed as a suitcase stand as the suitcase is not particularly clean.”

“Este hotel está muy bien por la calidad/precio. Sencillo y realmente a 3 o 4 minutos del aeropuerto atravesando la verja del Hilton, que es totalmente legal. Cada habitación incluye una funda con almohadas extra y es bastante espaciosa. Por decir algo negativo es que la bomba del váter no funcionaba del todo bien, le costaba cargar agua, pero por lo demás, es un chollazo ”

“This hotel is located right beside Teesside Barrage so a lovely area. The staff at this orooerty are so nice and very friendly. The Talpor restaurant and bar right beside the hotel is excellent. The wait and bar staff are so friendly The food is excellent in this restaurant. We will definitely return on our next visit to the UK. We stayed Fiordland three nights the hotel was busy but the guests were considerate and quiet”

“Hemos estado una noche en una habitación con una cama doble y un sofa cama individual, perfecto para 2-3 personas. La estancia ha sido buena, la habitación tiene vistas al río y al puente. Opción muy recomendable para cortas estancias en la ciudad. La atención en recepción ha sido estupenda en todas las horas y dudas que hemos tenido. Hemos desayunado un buffet tipo inglés per 11€ approx.”

"En general el hotel está bien, es de estilo clásico, es un hotel céntrico y las camas son cómodas. Como aspectos negativos decir que el parking del hotel es pequeño y en seguida se quedan sin plazas debiendo dejar el vehículo en el parking exterior de la estación de trenes que hay en frente. En nuestro caso nos encontramos con que la ducha no funcionaba correctamente, por un lado estaba atascado el desagüe, pero sobretodo que el magnetotermico de la ducha estaba estropeado y solo salia agua muy caliente por lo que ducharse fue una odisea."
