"Stayed for one night during a long road trip. This was a great place and we wish we could spend more time. Spotless and well equipped with little thoughtful surprises. Very pleased even for a short stay."

"Fantastic Stay – Exceptionally Maintained!We had a wonderful time at this property this past weekend! The vacation rental was exceptionally well-maintained and incredibly clean from top to bottom.The location is absolutely fantastic. It is the perfect spot if you need reliable Wi-Fi, great cell phone service, and close proximity to town. Outside, the property features a lovely fire pit with beautiful views of the mountains. The hosts kindly provide firewood for the campfire and request a donation if you use it. Just make sure to bring cash with you so you can place it in their donation envelope.Even though the weather was blazing, the AC works very well and kept us nice and cool on extremely hot days. The only downside to this property is the lack of an on-site washer and dryer, and there is no local laundromat nearby. You will just need to pack extra clothes to account for this.Overall, it is a stellar property and we highly recommend it!"

"Surprisingly good hotel, we would stay there again. But here are a few suggestions to improve: The emails they send in the days preceding the reservation are misleading. They suggest eating at their own 220House Restaurant, but it is permanently closed, so that was not an option. Also, on arriving, there was nobody at the desk There were two phone numbers taped to the door. One dialed to a NY #, the second dialed to a Florida #. Both were were non-operational phone numbers. The phone # in the email was also invalid. We almost panicked, thinking that we arrived at a ghost hotel that was shut down. There was QR code taped over the button on the intercom and we didn't see the button at first, but then hit that and someone answered. All's well that ends well, but management might want to rethink how present contact options for arrivals. The other problems: 1 roll of toilet paper, and I'm sure we could have just called and asked for more, but the path of least resistance was just walking to Family Dollar next door and buying a roll. Also, hallway lights would have been nice. Our room was more of a suite with a hallway to the bathroom and entry, and it it was impossible to see anything. The microwave, fridge and coffee maker were in this dark hallway. The room was 89 degrees when we arrived, but it was a heatwave, so I won't hold this against the hotel. But it did take about 3 hours to lower the temps to sleeping tolerance."

"We loved absolutely everything about Le Petit Cottage! The house was full of character and beautifully updated to make a perfect place to relax and enjoy a weekend away with friends. The layout of the 3 bedrooms made it feel like each one was nestled away in its own house. Perfect for 3 couples getaway. The house was clean and full of every kitchen gadget you might need, along with lots of cozy blankets and fireplaces inside and out. The location was a perfect country setting with a reservoir a short walk away.We accidentally locked ourselves out (fully user error) and the Red Cottage crew sprang into action to get us back in in no time. The hosts were lovely and communicative.We'll definitely come again! P.S. You really must also stop by the Mountain View Market around the corner at 322 Blue Mountain Road. Absolutely DELICIOUS homemade samosas, tamarind sauce and curry dishes in addition to all of the corner store necessities you could need for your stay! Truly a hidden gem!!!"
