Hotel was nice, clean, very inexpensive, free continental breakfast, pleasant staff, even had a fridge & microwave. The location was very convenient also. I'd stay again.

Room temp uncontrollable

Newer, modern, comfortable beds & good location

It was nice and all however when I walked in the bathroom the first thing I noticed was soap scum/calcium around the sink, faucets, shower head, handle, and drain along with the corners of the tub. There were hairs on the floors and on the toilet. It looks like they just wiped over the counters and put new sheets to make it look clean. I stayed there 3 years ago when it first opened and it was amazing. But getting woken up by the other guests walking/talking down the hallway early in the morning and and by housekeeping vacuuming was not what we expected. Especially after coming home late. It's okay, but they could clean it better next time.

Hotel bom, mas quarto muito pequeno. Funcionários agradáveis, mas o telefone do quarto por exemplo, não funcionava devido a chuvas. No mais, tudo bem.

Fairly nice hotel

The hotel is fairly new and very updated. The room itself had an excellent layout with mini fridge and microwave. The room also had an ironing board but no iron in the room. When we asked for the iron the front desk staff said that we had to go pick it up because they had no help to deliver it to us. The pool had a smaller shallow pool for the kids which was great! One minor thing on cleanliness was that we found a hair on the toilet which of course did not look good. Because of the it being a fairly new hotel, we'll probably stay there again but first we are going to try the other new hotels in Eagle Pass before doing so.

Bad place to stay

This place smelled so bad! Evelator was smelly, hallway was smelly, room was smelly- bad!-- no wash cloths in room- scratchy towels!!---- no lightening in parking lot!!!! Yuck yuck!!!!

Micro as in tiny rooms.

We've stayed at Microtel before with good experiences, but were floored by the size of the room this time. It was a microroom, barely large enough to walk around the bed and furniture. I guess they are able to squeeze more people into these tiny rooms at a full-sized room rate. We'll skip these accommodations in the future.
