The staff was friendly but.

Posted Aug 23, 2017
The staff was friendly but the first room smelled so very moldy that I could barely breathe. I was offered a dehumidifier, or to change my room. The second room was nicer but, I had already spent the night in the other room as there was no one at the desk after nine.

Good Location, Boating On site, and Allows Dogs!

Posted Aug 15, 2017
Pros: Fairly central location, use of sister Hotel Shoreway Acres, allows small dogs, and boating launch on site. Great for families!
Cons: It needs updating, it's getting a bit rundown.
Location: Lots of beaches closeby, shopping and restaurants on Main Street, indoor and outdoor pool, boating launch on site.
What I liked most was that this hotel allows small dogs. We brought ours and it was wonderful to have him there. You can also bring your boat, they have parking for it, and launch it right into the estuary inlet they have there. It's an older hotel... the beds were comfortable and the room was pretty clean; but with a slightly musty smell. You also have use of their sister unit Shore Way Acres in central Falmouth. They have both an outdoor and indoor pool there (great for rainy days!). You can park in that hotels generously sized lot, which is off Main Street and is in reasonably close walking distance to Surfside Beach.

Close to beach, nice location. Expensive for ?

Posted Jul 24, 2017
The staff were lovely and the location is great. But the price-reality ratio was a bit off: rooms are small and a bit damp, quite outdated, bed not very comfortable, pillows a bit lumpy....

Beautiful natural setting with unlimited kayaking

Posted Jul 15, 2017
Manager was very accommodating, Cheerful and positive. Kayaking on the salt pond surrounded by nature was absolutely wonderful. The location is perfectly near the shore road, close to the ferry to Martha's Vineyard and woods hole. Access to their other property which is within walking distance to Main Street historic district and also to a lovely beach was a big plus. Both properties are in beautiful residential areas with meticulously landscaped properties. Pools on both properties are lovely. Also lots of recreational equipment for all ages to enjoy. Refrigerator in room was very convenient.

Nice place

Nice comfortable place on the banks of a large pond in Falmouth. Very dog friendly. Very clean. When the bulb in the bathroom burnt out, they replaced it right away. Breakfast is not included.
