Great Location but Beware of Parking/Driving
This hotel has a perfect location in Gent, with all the main attractions being a short walk away. It’s clean and very comfortable. Our only gripe was our bathroom/toilet was behind glass saloon style doors with almost zero privacy. Ok for families, but still! Also, beware of the situation with the parking. We chose this hotel because it was parking available in the centre of the city, but upon arrival we’re told that it needed to be pre-booked and that it was full. The nearest 24hr car-park was a 20 min drive away (due to needing to leave the city and come back in) and a 15 min brisk walk back to the hotel. Not the hotel’s fault, this is made clear on their website but if you use Hotels.com this is not made clear. Also, it’s in a Low Emission Zone in Gent meaning we then had to apply for access retrospectively and you will need to know information about you car such as “Euro Standard” and “Vehicle Weight” as well as uploading a pic of the VS5 documentation. You can send this in on the day after your visit. We were lucky we came home from Gent the day after!

Elegant and modern hotel in the best location
I had the best hotel and room in Ghent at Hotel Harmony! The room was modern, and elegant with many amenities, including a beautiful tub, large windows, a coffee maker, and much more. The hotel is only a 2 minute walk to the castle and is on the canal. I would stay at Hotel Harmony again and again!

Hotel Harmony was ideal for me as I wanted a central hub in Ghent. There’s plenty of small cafes, restaurants, and shops within a small radius of the hotel. Staff was friendly, cordial, and provided basic guides to the city. Certainly a place worth staying if you want to experience the heart of Ghent.

Great hotel and location convenient for visiting central Ghent. Think twice about driving though, street signs are difficult to see and GPS does not route you direct to the hotel due to the street rules.

Lovely hotel in a great location.
A lovely hotel right on the canal and in the centre of everything. Room was large with views of the canal. Could be noisy with late night revellers and people moving around the room above.

Beautiful canalside setting
The hotel itself is appealing, clean, centrally located in a beautiful canalside setting, the rooms well-appointed and well-decorated. The experience could be improved by having welcoming reception staff - a smile would be a start - and a commitment to act on requests the first time, e.g. for a kettle in the room, and to act on requests, e.g. to repair the usb charger by the bed; and to clear glasses from previous customers in the bar, which caused us to return to our room rather than have a drink there. In retrospect an enjoyable time there, certainly. Hopefully these suggestions can be discussed by the team.

A lovely property down cobbled street in Ghent. Staff were extremely helpful when we drove down to the hotel by accident. Parking is not too far a walk away and you do pay for this separately. A lovely weekend stay.

Beautiful location. Quiet and peaceful, yet very close to dozens of cafes and bistros, museums and sights, and interesting shops. Watching the action on and around the canal is entertaining. Our room was beautifully appointed, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was brilliant, far superior to a regular ‘hotel breakfast’. Staff were very friendly, shared really useful information, and were incredibly willing to help.

We have just returned from a four night break at the Hotel Harmony, Ghent. We stayed in an exclusive double room with river view which was beautiful, romantic and quaint. It was also very spacious and extremely comfortable, as well as having the the lovely view of the river and street below. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and offered help with directions to local attractions and restaurant bookings. The hotel was in a perfect location, very close to restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions. If needed, the car parking is €30 a day and is at the back of the hotel which is very convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed the sights, food and beer of Ghent and it was a pleasure to return to our lovely room at the end of the day. Would definitely recommend the Hotel Harmony and specifically room 111 if looking for a romantic, quaint room for a special occasion. We also looked at the room next door 113 (which also has river view) which looked equally luxurious but was more modern than quaint. Thanks for a great stay.

Highly recommend this hotel!
Great location. Access and parking was a bit challenging, but no major issue. Pool was great! The service was great! Everyone was super friendly and very helpful. Didn't have breakfast. A bit too pricey so we ate out. Hotel has air conditioning!!! Loved the jetted tub in the room. Highly recommend this hotel! Book early so you can get a canal view room...Unfortunately we didn't get one, but maybe next time.

This was a solo weekend getaway trip. As Ghent is generally a small city, I'd say most hotels in the centre of the historic town can be called as having a "convenient location". Hotel Harmony, I thought was great in that the rooms are contemporary, clean and comfortable. It made the perfect base for me to do my casual wandering and then quick naps in the afternoon.

Very nice hotel
It was very nice staying here in the room the view of canal. The area is very convenient and walkable to the sights, restaurants. Staffs are very helpful and nice. Bed is comfortable and room is spacious with good amenities.

Fantastic hotel. I want stay here forever. Large room with a super size bathroom. Quite. Right on canal with a 5 min walk to eateries, fries, bars & chocolate store. 15 min. Taxi from central train station. Good breakfast. Great friendly staff.

Amazing staff
There were parts of our stay that were not perfect but the staff at Hotel Harmony were phenomenal and tried their best to be as hospitable as possible. Overall, it was wonderful. We would come back.
