We arrived by taxi from Gent St Pieters station (just €10) and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt welcome and safe. Gent is a stunningly beautiful city and the combination of original (a mixture of gothic and arts & crafts) and contemporary architecture was simply breathtaking. ...
Central location in Gent in walking distance of plenty of shops and restaurants. Lost of sight seeing also. The hotel is basic, no frills but clean and friendly.
We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It's comfortable, quiet, spacious, clean, and in an excellent location, walking distance from train, city center, and major attractions. Staff were very attentive and friendly. We did not take the breakfast because we felt it was a bit pricey, but we heard ...
Hotel was in a good location, the decor was a bit tired in the room but it was clean. Mini bar prices were inflated 3.90 euros for a tiny bottle of water was very over priced.
This is my second time at the Sandton Grand Hotel Reylof. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The building, lobby and rooms are as beautiful or more so than the photos, and there are lovely common sitting rooms off of the lobby. It's a great location - just a few minutes' walk from the historical ...
Hotel and facilities very good but the lifts broke down twice in the week we were there although they were fixed very quiskly and did not inconvenience us . Our only criticism would be the height of the beds, the beds were very comfortable but were very low to the floor and presented some difficulty ...
Main reason to stay here was the location - close to the city centre - and that it was cheap. The room was larger than expected. Kitchenette was ok, bring your own Nespresso capsules as there's only 1 provided. Staff very friendly and gave a late check-out without charging extra.
This a wonderful house to stay in Ghent. The owners couldn't have been nicer and their home which they restored themselves is a wonderfully updated 18th century villa near the old center of Ghent. We got a suite which had two large rooms with a master bed in and fold out couch in the other. It was ...
Goood hotel, close to the highway. Large rooms, good breakfast. The adjoining bar and restaurant was very convent and very good, I was pleased to find that open on Sunday evening.
Pleasant hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Fairly basic but well placed for visiting the centre of Ghent and easy walking to the main attractions. The bed was pretty uncomfortable and the rooms were rather hot. Average breakfast but all very functional. Was pretty good value for money overall.
I and my family arrived on the evening of Thursday 13th August. We were staying for four days while my son took part in the Dodentocht marathon walk on Friday and Saturday. On our arrival we booked in with the receptionist Cansu and then went to explore the town and to find a restaurant. While we ...
Lovely historic building. Right near many tourist spots. Staff very helpful with advice about things to do places to see. Would be wonderful to see the historic dining room walls conserved if funds ever become available.
A few minutes walk to Gent-Sint-Pieters station and outside is a tram stop to the city centre. Clean room with nice bathroom, breakfast was good. Reception closes at 11pm but this just means you have to use your keycard to enter from the side entrance.
The hotel is in a fantastic location and the room size is great. Parking in nearby parking garage. We were in a family room and the beds had blankets which set me of scratching my skin and my husband was sneezing away. But the beds were comfortable. 3 TV channels only. We had 2 towels for 4 people ...
