Run down hotel - but ok at the price

Posted Nov 22, 2017
The room was pretty run down with masking tape over the lights, stains on the ceiling and mould in the bathroom. The location we thought was initially not great as its about 30min walk from the centre but there is a good tram service that runs frequently just 4min walk from the hotel. The hotel was in need of some repair and cleaning but it was comfortable enough for the short stay we had there.

15 minute walk to Old City Damascus Gate

Posted Nov 8, 2017
15 minute walk to Old City Damascus Gate past the worthwhile site to see - The Garden Tomb. Be prepared Breakfast (7:30ish) is Israeli toppings-Hummus etc- suggested to bring your own bread toppings eg Nutella. Friendly and helpful staff. English was understood. Enjoy your visit in Jerusalem!

Nice hotel close to Old City

Posted Oct 24, 2017
It was a nice stay, nice staff, had some problems with WIFI but staff helped us to troubleshoot. Very close to Old city and Mount Olive, can be walking distance.

You get what you pay for .

You get what you pay for. Friendly staff but an old building , spotty internet and kinda air conditioner. Location is great and the balcony is nice . You can use internet from the neighbor hotel if you stand on your balcony . Bathrooms were really old and not too clean .

The Addar Hotel failed gave away our reservation n

Posted Jul 9, 2017
The Addar Hotel failed gave away our reservation nothing worked air-conditioning air nothing worked We arrived from several thousand miles away we were tired and we were informed that our reservation was given away they said come back the next day and maybe will have something they said they gave a reservation away to a Jordanian who had gotten ill and it's just too bad for us We were only able to stay there the last few days of the reservation and it was just ridiculous because the air conditioning never worked and when it did work it was at night when it was cool reservations were always mixed up and the people were not very nice about it

Good location for a fair price.

Posted Jul 4, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: The location, and the garden where breakfast is served (really early, by the way!)
Cons: The staff was really not helpful. They don't like to give information or just don't know much.
Location: As said before, perfect to be close to the ancient city. Not many places to eat or shop around, though; get your staff before coming back to your room
The room was spacious, a bit rundown, but just fine for tourists that will not spend much time there, wandering the streets of Jerusalem! The location is fantastic; you can walk to one of the gates to the ancient city very easily. The staff is unfortunately not very reliable; on the first day they sent us to another hotel with a dubious excuse (we knew others had been sent there too). Although they paid for everything, there was no need in lying about the reasons. We stopped asking them for help.
