Great few days at the Nether Abbey. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent and a good choice freshly prepared. Would definitely return in the future.

I was rellocated from a different hotel to this one and i have to say the staff are fantastic, kind and very helpful. Love our stay and morning breakfast was 5 star

Great hotel great service exellent menu and food. Room 9 excellent view of the sea. Only very minor negative was a bad drainage smell in our room 9

Room was nice if a bit cold when we first arrived but it soon warmed up. Fantastic breakfast with all you could possibly want. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. They have a tank with lobsters/crayfish with claws taped so don’t go here if this will offend.

Room. Was freezing snd facilities poor. Was glad to get home. Wasnt even asked hiw my stat as therefore no opportunity to complain. Took my money on arrival before even entering the room. Miserable experience.

Great time
Fantastic hotel the staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast & evening meal was excellent. Only down side room was a little cool for my wife but overall fantastic

Great hotel only issue we had was the there was no mention on the advertisement that the rooms were on the 1st and 2nd floors with no lift access. This should have been made clear as the price of rooms varied.

Calm and relaxing stay in a busy place
A delightful stay ahead of playing golf on the West Course. A convenient location to find, short walk to the centre of town and excellent facilities. Lovely view from the bedroom.

First time staying at Nether Abbey and I would highly recommend it as a nice place to stay. Great bar and restaurant in the evening and classic Scottish breakfast in the Morning. Walking distance is just a few blocks to the downtown area.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff and great meals. Our executive room was large, beautifully furnished and had a great seaview. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, all the staff were very friendly and chatty, one of the best small hotels I've ever stayed in.

First class and very dog friendly
We have just returned from a 2 night stay with our dog and all 3 of us were made extremely welcome. The room was very spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. Our dog was made to feel like a paying guest, she was welcome to eat breakfast and dinner with us (in the bar area) and even got a sausage at breakfast. We had dinner in the bar one night which was fantastic, and very popular with locals which is always a good sign. The town was walking distance from the hotel and there is parking on site. We would not hesitate to stay here again. First class hotel

Wonderful dog-friendly hotel
What a lovely hotel - everything about it was great. It was extremely comfortable, the staff were so helpful and the food was delicious. But best of all, our dog was made so very welcome - she even got her own sausage at breakfast! Cut up and delivered to the table in tinfoil so we could give it to her later. Being able to eat breakfast and dinner in the bar meant she could be with us at all times - just perfect for us. We hope to be back very soon!

Great place to stay !!
The hotel was very presentable. Clean and adequate. Good value for money. What makes the Nether Abbey TOP of my list, given that I spend three nights a week away from home with work and have stayed in many quality hotels, was the staff. Even in these challenging times of COVID nothing was too much trouble. Friendly, smiling, helpful from the table service to arranging late night transport, these guys went the extra mile. Brilliant food and great service. I will certainly be returning and will be encouraging any work colleagues to stay there when in the area.

Lovely weekend break
Had a lovely weekend break here. Staff were friendly and social distancing measures were in place. It is also a few mins walk from the beach which is not as busy as the one near town and just a short walk into town too.

A pleasant stay.
Only for 1 night with 2 little dogs. Room was spotless and bathroom. Very hot room but the window opened and the radiator was adjustable. Staff very pleasant. I didn’t eat there as I had read the Envionmental Health report about remote cooking elsewhere. I know this was resolved and passed but it did put me off. Dining room and bar were packed through the day so obviously popular with people.

Our attic room was a little cramped but comfortable. The hotel would benefit from a comfortable lounge area with decent seating. Meals were good with very good pleasing service. Quite close to town/ golf course .

All well nice and welcoming- The only small issue is with the fact that they placed an unknown charge on my credit card prior to arrival and I am having a hard time getting a hold of anyone to please explain this charge. All else was wonderful

Great dog friendly hotel & amazing staff
Friendly and helpful staff who made our stay comfortable. Great pet friendly hotel at a great location. Our room was very spacious and clean. It got very hot in the morning as the heating was on a timer and it wasn’t really needed as warm spring weather had arrived. Would definitely stay there again.

The food was excellent also the service with a smile. decor was pleasant and reading matter in the bedroom was interesting and relevant to the local area. Also everywhere was spotlessly clean. Overall highly recommended.
