Beautiful location, average accomodationPosted Aug 27, 2017
Cons: General cleanliness
Location: Heart of leafy and quiet East Melbourne, close to the CBD, Gardens, MCG and Richmond
Booked this hotel primarily on its location, which is excellent, right in the heart of East Melbourne. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the hotel is a little tired and out-dated. Still, a good place close to the city for somewhere to stay.

Great location and staff.Posted Jul 20, 2017
Pros: Location and Parking available
Cons: General maintenance and condition
Location: Great French style cafe and 24 seven at the end of the street. Liquor store & lots of restaurants train & tram within walking distance
Friendly welcome and very helpful staff. Given the great location and the parking, the value was excellent. The hotel has seen better days but the room was spacious and had everything that we needed. Great for self catering and walking into the city. We would stay there again.

Good weekend, we were in the city for the football, and the hotel is a nice walk to the MCG. They do a great job with breakfast, which was included in the price.

Not car friendly...Posted Jun 20, 2017 on Hotels
Very limited parking behind hotel...we checked in at 2pm and all parking taken...they then made someone move their car as room only allocates x1 space...on street parking for residents with permits
Value plusPosted Jun 8, 2017 on Hotels
Excellent value, helpful staff, great position, good breakfast, heater not working so room was cold.

Nice hotel with parking spacePosted Jun 4, 2017 on CheapTickets
Pros: Room space and parking place
Cons: Breakfast is served everyday and free. The quality is so so
Location: Beautiful garden
We, a family of 4 persons including 2 teenagers, stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The hotel arranged for us a room with 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds and a kitchen in the room. The hotel is generally nice. There is a garden, about 50-100mettres from the hotel. The garden is very beautiful in the Autumn. A small garden in front of the hotel is also beautiful. The parking is plus. The reception opens from 7:30am to 7:00pm but they can arrange late check-in for us by giving us a passcode to unlock a safe containing the room key accessible to the hotel and the room.

Convenient locationPosted May 18, 2017
Accommodation is out dated but has lot and of potential. The room was clean but required repairs. The facilities are old but work well enough. The room was without power, tv, power points etc until I located the fuse box for the room and turned the power on. Overall the accommodation was 2 mins walking distance to StVincents private hospital in east Melbourne so very convenient, the premises is secure with swipe card entry, the room dinner it's job for a short stay and due to convenience and price I would book here again.
Good location but tired and needs upgrade.Posted May 16, 2017 on Hotels
The only really good thing about this place is it's lovely location. Right near the MCG and not far from the edge of the City, to catch a tram. The hotel is very old, tired and in need of much repair. The breakfast was just okay, and many of the items were not fresh eg: juice. Blinds in room were broken, and shower was either really hot or freezing cold.
