Hotel charged more than was quoted

I arrived around 3:09pm at the hotel on 11/24/17 to occupy the hotel room that was reserv d by Expedia at the room rate guaranteed at $114,00 room rate for that one night stay . The amount I was charged on my credit card was $148.20 total charges(included room rate plus taxes( instead of $136.24 total charges (room rate plus taxes)?guaranteed by Expedia. I brought this to the Hotels front desk attention that I was overcharged and they at first tried to say that the extra charges were taxes and then corrected them self and said that the extra charge of $11.96 would drop off later from the bill. Also they tried to deny me my “Free Breakfasts” for me and my husband and changed their mind and I was told to just give the hotel restaurant my room number so that they would not charge me for the breakfasts as they would Code it different in their computer so I would not be charged. I felt very suspicious and uncomfortable about them trying to overcharge the room rate and taxes.

With expedia reservations there is really nothing else the hotel does but check you in, unless it is taking a deposit that should drop off of your account. Not worth it

No microwave, toilet and door was broken. Room is very small, no real closet space.

While we do not have a microwave in the room, we have one in our breakfast area that our guests are welcome to use at any point during their stay. There are no microwaves in the room to be sure that there are no lingering smells that may not agree with other guests. If you encounter anything broken while you are with us please let us know so we can make sure to either fix it right away or make other arrangements for you so you can spend your time with us relaxing and unwinding. We are set to renovate in the near future, so next time you're in Memphis we hope you give us a second chance to deliver a wonderful, relaxing stay. Warm Regards

Front desk staff and good restaurant next door.

Pros: very clean.
Location: very close to airport and 15-20 minutes to Graceland and riverfront.
Quickly assisted us with smiles when we needed to check out early and could not make it to buffet breakfast paid through expedia. by giving us two complimentary drinks at the restaurant next door. The dinner at that restaurant is amazing tasty.

Had to give a $50 deposit, plus stuck me next to elevators and Ice machine. Woke up to sirens, some one was shooting next parking lot over.

The $50 deposit gets returned to you if you don't use any of those funds around our hotel in a couple of business days, but I apologize if that has in any way inconvenienced you. As for the location of your room, you can always request a room away from elevators or other amenities, and we always do our best to accommodate our guest's needs. It is true that sometimes we may not be able to answer your request, but it is always wise to indicate if being placed in a certain room could potentially be bothersome for you. Unfortunately, even though I wish we could, we cannot control what happens in the city surrounding us. Good Stay

We stayed after leaving texas,the hotel was great the location is good,however right off the busy highway is very dangerous gettn in and out,will definitely stay again if traveling that way again.
