Pros: We have stayed in La Quinta inn in several different cities. We liked them. Most of them are good. This one is bad.
Cons: Clean it. I wish this is the only room which is bad in that hotel.
Location: Not associated with hotel.
When I walked in the room, bad smell came to me. I opened window for a while, smell still there. Probably the smell came from floor/carpet. Toilet has black dirty stuff at the junction of water and air inside, probably fungi stain. One large towel has a black dirty area. Otherwise, it was ok.

Cheaper and better service than at Bally's

The hotel wasn't that bad. The pool stays open late til 10 bally's closes at 6. They offer free shuttle service through the hotel bally's has a separate service that costs 8 bucks per trip. Overall I think staying at La Quinta was soooooo much better than the horrible time we had at Bally's.

wonderful and nice

Pros: The room and the bed. The tub. The cleanliness of the room. Refrigerator.thumbs up.
Cons: Breakfast menu.
Location: Great locations. From strip
Need Bigger breakfast room , it was crowded. Need more options for eggs and need meat.

La Quinta Inn & Suites Las Vegas Airport North

Pros: I like the easy access to airport, strip, parking, public transportation and breakfast.
Cons: Improve interior cosmetic of entire facility like carpet, lighting and appearance.
Location: It's near the strip.
This hotel is close to the strip, nice large room, easy parking with access to public bus #202 to the Strip and has the usual LQ breakfast but without hot sausage/eggs. It has an old style look and overall I find this site needing a renovation and/or updating. The AC was noisy. Nearby ice machine was noisy. Carpet throughout the facility are old and hallways are dark. Wifi is okay but slow. In my opinion, this major site in Las Vegas can do better to represent LQ.

Derelict and Unclean - Also unsafe

Pros: Nothing much!
Cons: SERVICE & CLEANLINESS.
The elevator from the lobby was undergoing maintenance. Our alternative access to the hotel was locked; the hotel staff could not open it. We had to change rooms. Although doors to the swimming pool had signs saying "locked 24 hours", they were always open - the locks did not work. The bathroom in our room had ants. We were out the entire second day of our stay. We came back to find unmade beds and uncollected trash. Housekeeping staff has not been to our room. The following day, only one of the two beds was made, and only some of the trash had been taken out. There had been a robbery in a room two rooms from ours (according to the affected gentleman). We had prepaid for three days but left a day early. The staff noted the early checkout but did not ask why.

Pros: The original design was nice.
Cons: The building needs major maintenance and updating.
Location: We were passing through a divorce only wanted a good night's sleep.
We spent one night driving through Nevada. When we pulled around back to park, there appeared to be a drug dealer going down. The light in the bathroom did not work and the vent was hanging from the ceiling by a wire. Maintenance came to fix the light late in the evening and ignored the vent. They ran out of breakfast food early.

Won't return

Pros: Pool, but towels are more like hand towels instead of bigger option
Cons: facilities are aged, I noticed a leak on a corner of a hallway and it was mostly not noticed or ignored. Ice machine wasn't working.
Location: Strip is just one mile away. Easy walk to access day and night
Staff was great. They tried with what they have to offer.

Hotel was not what I expected

I was really surprised this hotel was in terrible condition. I thought LaQuinta was supposed to be better. From the beginning, the room lights didn't all work, the sink and shower took 15-20 min to drain, there was a water leak from the bathroom ceiling. I can go on and on. Oh the pool was really dirty and bed was so uncomfortable. Anyway, I'll let the next person be the judge, buy I'll never stau here again. I'll have to book way in advance to get a good deal on the strip.
