good hotel for antic arms show attendance

Posted Jan 21, 2018
Pros: Size
Cons: remove the harassing marketing people. Include resort fee in the upfront/online booking process
Location: good location OFF the Strip
like the size and operation of the hotel, no need to leave the facility, unless you want to.

Helpful staff. Upgraded rooms.

Posted Jan 21, 2018
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. Rome large and comfortable. Free parking. Breakfast buffet was good. Included with room.
Cons: Coffee maker. Hot tub open. Fresher pastries at buffet.
Location: Next to convention center. Monorail station.
Checked in quickly, nice upgraded room. When we decided to relax for the night we became aware of loud pulsing mechanical noise from outside. Even though we had been therefor several hours, we were moved to another room. Very nice. Rooms are newer looking. Do not show the hard wear that is common in Vegas. No coffee maker and hot tub was not open or rating would be a 5.

Timeshare

Posted Jan 20, 2018
Pleasant overnight, adequate amenities, courteous staff...just enough. Be aware of hidden large daily resort fee. Everything costs something because it is primarily a timeshare NOT a hotel. Upsell!!

Hidden "Resort Fees" in Expedia Fine Print

Posted Jan 19, 2018
Cons: Getting rid of hidden fees.
Expedia and Vegas hotels seem to be supportive of this anti-consumer practice of hiding resort fees in fine print, then claiming they were upfront about the cost. ("It was in Expedia booking," the check-in counter claimed, hidden away in a footnote.) Even worse, they're happy to force this charge on unsuspecting customers even when they will not be using any of the hotel "amenities". Instead of this nonsense they should consider charging people who DO use the spa/wi-fi/etc. and see how much demand there is with there ridiculous prices for those services then.

My stay at Westgate

*Hard to have a sound sleep because of the tram noise. *Need at least to provide an alarm clock on the room. *The brunch buffet is so, so!!

Everyone was helpful and showed great respect.

Posted Jan 19, 2018
Pros: Great restaurants and sports book. Room was very clean and inviting.
Cons: Room was at the end of hallway. long walk from elevator.
Location: Very close to the Vegas Monorail, stops at the hotel. Made it very convenient to visit the other Casinos in the area.
As all large Hotels and Casinos they make it difficult to figure out where you are in the hotel. The employees were more than helpful and had great intuition to tell that you were lost and needed help. The complimentary all you can eat breakfast was very good. Room was very clean and large. Spent two night and room service during the stay was very efficient, keeping my room clean.

Nice, close to main strip and Old Vegas

Posted Jan 19, 2018
Cons: A lot of construction going on, in the casino and throughout. Faucet in tub constant drip, would not turn off all the way
Location: Real close to main strip, could hop on monorail right out front of hotel, and a $10 uber to Old Vegas, great central location
Had a wonderful time with my husband and another couple. First time to Vegas and loved it!
