"Great Hotel close to the strip."
Stayed here for a family event, as I have family living in Vegas. It was a smaller hotel and casino, but very nice, well run, clean, with good food, comfy room and bed, with a very nice staff, especially at the front desk. Everyone was very cheerful and accommodating. The restaurant upstairs had good food for reasonable prices and even the "gift shop" had snacks and cereal and milk for those mid-night hungries when you just want something light. The restaurant and snack bar, I believe, were open 24 hours. I hear there's a good breakfast buffet, but I didn't have it. Hotel is about 2 miles from the strip, on E. Flamingo, so when you get to the Strip, you'll be at The Flamingo, with Caesars Palace across the street. Also very close to the airport and car rental center, which is so convenient. For a smaller, off-strip hotel, this was good, and I would recommend it. Only drawback for me was the smoke on the Casino floor-although I think there was a ventilation system going on. There were quite a few slot machines and tables, and a central bar, right near a "sports bar" setup, so you could sit and drink and watch football. All in all, it was a good place to stay and I would stay there again.
