Excellent hotel just off main strip but dont let this put you off. Casino excellent - catering facilities excellent - staff very friendly and helpful - rooms large and very clean and comfortable. Would book again.

I flew down to Vegas for my fathers 80th Birthday. I choose to stay at Hooters because of the price. I was amazed when I arrived at the hotel. The Hotel was very clean and the staff was excellet. The room were nice and you could tell right away it was properly managed. I ate in the Restraunt and enjoyed both the pool lounge and the inside sports bar. I will definatly recommend the Hotel to my friends. I fly to Vegas 4 to 6 times a year. I will stay there again. Great Job !!

Hotel was in decent condition, well kept, especially for the price. The staff was great and were very accommodating, I had a great experience with each staff member I encountered. The location wasn't bad either. (walking distance from the strip, near several restaurants and close to several bus stops). Breakfast was the only thing I disliked - it was bread, waffles and frozen pancakes to toast yourself, tang and hard boiled eggs. very unimpressive. overall a good experience.

Great property. Most staff were helpful but check-in process was confusing and unclear. Suites are beautiful. Full nicely appointed kitchens. Housekeeping is on request and the information provided on how to request/contact looks a bit unprofessional for the price/property level.
Starbucks in lobby but really have to go off property for anything substantial.
This property is a part of the MGM Grand property and is easily accessible to the MGM Casino and shops.
Shopping was great!
Restaurants were disappointing. I am a foodie and was underwhelmed by the restaurants at the MGM Grand. Food quality was not great despite them being "celebrity chef" restaurants.
Emeril's restaurant for lunch was great! Tasty chicken salad special and fish tacos were great!

The hotel was really nice - kitchen, washer/dryer, and hot tub. It's Noy too far from the strip. The staff was very friendly and willing to accommodate you as much as possible. Would definitely stay there again.

This area has more lodging variety than The Strip. East of the Strip features both gaming and non-gaming properties that range from budget to luxury accommodations. Key attractions here include the Las Vegas Convention Center, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, the McCarran International Airport, several office parks, and the Restaurant Row along Flamingo and Paradise roads.
