Nice hotel, close to everything!

I was a little surpriced when I entered the lobby, it looked a bit older than the pictures would suggest on this site. And also the doorhandle fell off in the bathroom on the ground floor. But we were surpriced when we entered the room, it was really nice, bright and airy! It looked like it has been refurbished lately - just wish they would refurbish the reception also to make the first impression better. Nice and helpfull hotel staff in the reception.
We did not try the breakfast, as the did not offer any gluten free options (but was not expecting that either).
The hotel is within walking distance to everything! What is the furtest away is the train station, but maybe only 10 min walking.
When you arrive we would suggest you use one of the many sightseeing golfcarts, they are easy to find along the river a few minutes walk from the hotel. Most offer an audioguide, but our guide did it personally - and we prefer this option. Depending on when you stay, I would say an hour is enough time to see what is most important and get a feel for where everything is in the city. Also one of the stops (the postoffice) is a few meters walk from the hoteldoor. We got to choose the last stop on our tour, and chose this stop and were dropped of just outside the hotel.
