Nice facilities but staff needs service training

Pros: The size, function and cleanliness of the room.
Cons: Staff services were not acceptable.
Location: This hotel is across the NJ Turnpike from MetLife Stadium so very useful if going to a game or function there.
Pleasant hotel as far as cleanliness. Kitchenette and breakfast area complete with fridge and stove top were helpful as there are no restaurants within walking distance. Front desk staff was not very attentive and did not listen to requests very well. I had trouble communicating with the housekeeping staff for simple requests such as toilet paper or extra pillows because they did not understand or speak English. The lack of interest at the front desk did not help this. I would only recommend this spot if you are just passing through and need a clean place to lay your head for a short stay.

Close to stadium, non smoking floor...not so much

The stay was okay. The bed was uncomfortable. Not enough pillows or blankets

Pros: Close to MetLife stadium
Cons: Clean room better
Location: Patriots verses Jets football game.
Unfortunately the room was not very clean. Dried food on floor on one side and fingernail clipping on the other side of the bed on the floor. Tub had hair in it too. My socks were very dirty from walking on the floor in the room.....ugh Asked for 2 extra pillows and only got one.

It's ok for 1 night

Just for 1 night to crash. Not much going on, the rooms are clean but not that clean. There's nothing much around the hotel, you are on the highway so no where to go.

Smelly Dirty Incorrect room Friendly staff

The hotel was filthy from the desk to the rooms. The entire hotel had a stench that you could not shake. I booked a room a month before my event and I found out they gave away my room. I had to stay in a room with three adult males with a king bed and pull out couch because the double bed room I booked they gave away. I was told by the person at the desk because I booked through Expedia that is why they gave away my room to a “full paying” customer. The last straw was blood on the comforter that was on the bed. I had a bad experience and will not stay at that hotel or use Expedia again. To be fair the staff was really nice.

Overall not great.

The employees that I interacted with were okay but it seems like they were spread thin. Our room was pretty dirty. There was sticky stuff all over the counter and floor. The hotel needs to be managed better and have more staff. I won’t be staying at another Extended Stay America.
