We would stay again. Close to restaurants, gas and grocery store. Microwave worked, watch for freezing in the fridge. Very clean, hot shower with pressure, and nice staff. The highway is behind the motel, but not right behind. We are an older couple and I think the staff thought we needed to stay on the first floor and needed a room for less ambulatory people right next to the ice machine and vending machines. These are just noisy areas in ANY motel. We should have asked for a second floor and away from the machines. The staff was very helpful and cleaned our room both days. The reason I didn't give it an excellent is because I have stayed at 5 star hotels. I would have liked to have carpeting so walking around the room wouldn't be so cold. Also, the breakfast wasn't that great. On the other hand, what do you expect for the price.

Fine for one night. The bed frames were odd metal cases not unlike the type of thin metal used on filing cabinets and they made a loud popping noise every time someone laid down or got up and the metal was compressed. Rather annoying. The HVAC was so loud we had to turn on the captions on the TV. The bathroom was old and in need of renovation--worn more than dirty. Room door had trouble latching which made it hard to open more than hard to close. The staff was pleasant enough. The free breakfast was pretty skimpy but adequate.

This is by far THE BEST Hotel I’ve stayed at in Mentor/Cleveland/Akron area in three years of traveling back/forth from/to Pennsylvania!! The cleanliness and room set up is extremely welcoming. It felt like home away from home. 5-star comfort at an economically priced rate.

Pricey, older hotel
Easy to get to hotel. Safe surroundings, several places to eat that are walkable. Price was a little high for what was offered. Room was older, shower was a little dirty, drain was terribly slow. Breakfast was a disappointment, pics for the breakfast area showed 2 waffle makers, when I went down to eat, there were none, only thing available was toast and cereal, coffee that was cold by 8:30. TV was good and had a lot of channels available and WiFi was good.

Motel was good, but could hear people talking in room across the hall until very late even though their door was closed. Otherwise everything was ok. Amazing selection of restaurants in area.

My non smoking room was very smoke filled. After being exchanged a room this fixed the issue. But It was a battle at the front desk. But I strongly urge smoke sensitive people to not stay here. This was not my worst issue. The front desk lady was the rudest, snarkiest person I have ever met. Because of her I will never be back. I received disability discrimination comments from her. And I will never be back to the establishment. Short lady. Short hair. She had a very sad cold heart. I could have had her job but I believe in second chances. The manager next morning was however nice and encouraging. Although the rooms were remodeled. The whole place smelled like cigarettes and butt. Do not sit on the computer chairs. They looked like they came from a dumpster. And had a thick layer of soot all over them in both my rooms. I recommend the studio across the street with a similar price. If you are a smoke you will be okay. They sheets and bed were clean. The rooms were remodeled. Apart from the desk person, and drug dealer in the parking lot which can happen anywhere. Our second room was tolerable. Consider this with your purchase.

5 stars, a great Motel! They had Motel rooms, a Motel breakfast area, they had Motel wi-fi, and they even had a Motel roof! You can’t say they ain’t doing they part! They allowed for a noon checkout because I asked nicely, they always have plasticware in the breakfast are in case you need to go get it 24/7. A person at the front desk even lended me some masking tape for me to use with my headlight restorer kit on my used car. What a champ! (Hell yeah I got a used car, I’m staying at a Motel to save money!) in conclusion, they had free coffee both regular and decaf pretty much 24/7. You can tell I’ve had too much. So I’m gonna stop there. Ohio. “Find it here.”
