DisappointingPosted Sep 14, 2015
Pros: Location. Breakfasts. Sea view.
Cons: 1) Rooms need air-conditioning. 2) More staff required at breakfast to avoid guest queueing 3) Charge for WiFi
Location: Great walking on South Downs
We have stayed at this hotel a number of times before. But this was the worst for hot rooms and slow staff service at breakfast. At room price charged, this stay was poor value for money.

Pros: Cleanliness of hotel. Dietary requirements catered for with no fuss.
Cons: All is good.
Location: Near to beach; theatre; restaurants; shops.
Would definitely stay at 'The Cavendish' again. Well looked after, in pleasant surroundings.

Cavendish break May 2015Posted May 31, 2015 on Hotels
Great hotel only let down by poor quality sausages served for breakfast:- this was a minor disappointment as the last time we were here the breakfast was great, forth floor room had a good view of the prom, pier and town and was very comfortable. Pleasant and helpful staff. Overall we will use again.

A fantastic stayPosted May 28, 2015 on Hotels
This hotel captivates you from when you first walk in to the majestic foyer. You are greeted by very friendly and professional staff, the check-in process was quick and I was soon on my way to my room. I had booked a single room and was very impressed by the quality of the furnishings. If there was one negative it was I couldn't turn off the radiator and had to open the windows wide in order to cool the room sufficiently but this was the only negative. Breakfast was of excellent quality even for a buffet style. Overall first class stay in an excellent hotel.

A lovely couples break.Posted May 26, 2015 on Hotels
Had a lovely couples stay. Nicely sized room with a huge Queen-sized bed. Got into our complimentary robes and ordered a delicious room service dinner. Very relaxing. The breakfast buffet the following morning was great, with a beautiful sea view. We definitely recommend The Cavendish Hotel.
