Functional - bed for the night

Posted Nov 14, 2016
Cons: Room too hot.
Location: Great location. Easy walk from the station.
I really only needed a bed for the night and that's what I got. Room ok. Clean. Too hot, but hotels always are. Very noisy at night but that's not the hotel's fault. Didn't use any of the available facilities.

Great location, comfortable, good facilities.

Posted Nov 14, 2016
Pros: Charming old building with interesting features. Efficient and friendly staff. Lovely location on the seafront. Hotel has everything you need. Our room was at the back but very nice; the bed extremely comfortable; roomy bathroom. By its design, the hotel has large rooms and high ceilings. We didn't use bar or restaurant but both looked nice. Swimming pool is a decent size with sauna, steam and jacuzzi pool, and there are other health and beauty facilities.
Cons: I think a refurbishment of the lifts might be a good idea. But a slightly rickety lift is the only thing we could criticise!
Location: Almost opposite the 360 BA ride, hotel is centrally positioned on the esplanade. Easy to walk to the shops, Lanes, pier; all amenities are close by.

Great location

Posted Oct 30, 2016
Pros: Location is superb and newly refurbished health facilities are excellent. The suite that we booked was perfect for a family of 4 and represented excellent value. In room TV facilities were first class.
Cons: The rest of the hotel needs to catch up. Parts are dated and in need of refurbishment. Breakfast was not well organised. The staff did their best to cope but it would have benefitted from some experienced direction.

Great location everything accessible on foot

Posted Oct 27, 2016
Pros: Location, leisure suite and breakfast.
Cons: Sign posting in the car park. We exited on foot via the entrance which wasn't the best route. The parking fee was expensive for the three nights.
Location: We enjoyed hiring bicycles to explore a little further afield. Royal Pavillion was a must.
Leisure break, there was plenty in Brighton to fill our time, time in the hotel was spent mostly in the leisure suite or the room hence we didn't explore the lounges.

Pros: Kingsize family room was spacious, clean and warm. Hotel was brilliantly located close to attractions and shops.
Cons: Check in was slow. Changing rooms for health club a little tired. Breakfast not worth the money.
Location: Opposite beach, i360, 10 minutes from pier, sealift centre and very close to all the shopping.

Lovely location....lovely hotel.....

Posted Oct 24, 2016
Pros: It's in the perfect spot facing the seafront! Great breakfast, and I also had a wonderful lunch in the 1890 @ The Met.
Cons: A rather chaotic 'check-in', which had high peaks....not sure what that was related to! Also, (and I know this was a one-off for most guests, but there was an evacuation during my stay...(NOT to be confused with the scheduled Sunday 'fire alarm test' @ 12 noon!). Again, rather chaotic! In addition to the fire alarm, what would help greatly is an announcement, explain that this IS an evacuation......people in hotels are asleep, in the pool etc they NEED proper GUIDANCE.
Location: Brighton has EVERYTHING....all I can say is go and explore!

Not worth the money nor the Hilton name

Posted Oct 24, 2016
Pros: I360 almost opposite the hotel and charming old city center as well as the Royal Paviljon within a 5 minutes walk
Cons: Pretty noisy room at the backside of the hotel because of A/C's. Tiny bathroom with toiletpaper holder so low on the wall that the paper continuously touches the floor, which is not so hygienic. Queus at checking in as well as checking out. Hotel needs some maintenance. Around 5 pm tons of dishes/bottles in front of the rooms on the 6th floor, which isn't very appealing to see. Beds clean and good; breakfast nothing special. A lot of money (WiFi not included) for what you get, so in our opinion one's better off with a B&B in Brighton.
