Cheap and cheerful, great viewPosted Aug 21, 2015
My friend and I stayed in a seaview room for two nights. We were on the third floor which requires quite a trek up some stairs (older people may struggle) but it was definitely worth the view at the top. The room itself wasn't bad, plenty of plug sockets and a decent tv. The water pressure and temperature wasn't fantastic, and disappointing that the only access to the free WiFi is sitting in the lobby. The staff were nice enough, and breakfast was acceptable for the price. Basically, not perfect but for a quick visit, the price and the location you can't complain.

Nice hotel close to beachPosted Aug 20, 2015
Pros: The closeness to the beach shops and restaurants.
Cons: Nothing I think for short stays it's perfect and like I say ideal for family's too
Location: Location is great for the beach shops and restaurants.
A great place to stay for a short visit, perfect for family's. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was very nice they also had a choice of cereal and juices which was good if you didn't fancy anything cooked. Would highly recommend and will stay there again.

Sea view in a central Brighton locationPosted Aug 5, 2015
Pros: Location, Location, Location!!! Wow! View, View, View would be the second plus. On a non-holiday weekend anyone would love to stay here due to price.
Cons: The traditional breakfast fare was poor: the pastry in particular. The third time was the charm in getting hot coffee. Toiletries could be better.
Location: Centrally located close to good food and entertainment. Day's buffet. Two markets(Morrison's and the Co-op). Beach and pier a five minutes. The wheel!
We were able to check in early on Pride weekend and that was an unexpected positive start as security downstairs for bags was nonexistent. The room was cramped as are older hotels in the area, but it was extremely clean with a lovely sea view. The staff was friendly at the start and the only problem was that the next day we asked for maid service at 1:00 and was told she'd gone for the day despite the cleaning hours not ending til 4:00. Access was good although hallways were narrow. The bathroom was very small and difficult to not find the walls touching you when you didn't want them to. The TV was hard to figure out and being a news buff that was perturbing. But the primary problem was a whopper of a price which I expected for Pride weekend, but not to the tune of £440 for two nights. x The outward appearance was very attractive and located on a rectangular square that everyone loves to chill in. I'm uncertain as to the degree that the fabulous weather played in my pleasure with the hotel, but certainly one could gaze at the sea endless from many places in Brighton including our room 25.

Awful first impressionPosted Jul 16, 2015
I didn't bother staying the evening and lost the money I paid but the welcome and service was shocking I asked for an iron and iron board and that was such a drama to get them, the reception area was shocking and first impression wasn't great, the receptionist language was discusting even with me as a guest sat there. .disappointed :-((

5 star holiday without the massive expense!Posted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: closeness to the pier, beach, shopping center, train and coach station
Cons: the bathroom was falling a part a little. Had a dodgy toilet seat and the shower head ended up spraying the whole bathroom.
Location: Brighton Pier Brighton Wheel Churchill Shopping Center Brighton Beach Restaurants
Decided to crash in Brighton a few days after finishing the London to Brighton Trek for the British Heart Foundation. This hotel was close to the finish point and close to the beach and pier which was perfect! I can not fault this hotel. Great price, lovely room and the staff were brilliant. Will always be our first choice when going to Brighton.

Good locationPosted Jun 23, 2015
It's fairly cheap as Brighton city centre goes, good value for a few minutes walk from the pier. Breakfast was included in the price, nothing special but it does the job!

Ok hotel close to pierPosted Jun 17, 2015
Ok as a base, if all u want is somewhere to sleep and shower. Great location, close to everything. Good breakfast and lovely staff, but in need of a refurb. Generator at back of hotel was a bit noisey and could keep you awake.

Cheap room with a seafront view with tea and breakfast included. The room was big and clean, the bed was comfy, and loved the view. The breakfast was tasty too. They have very wonky stairs!
