Okay - not the bestPosted Nov 19, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff and location; no issues with arranging a slightly late checkout nor with losing a room key.
Cons: The single room was surely a cupboard in a previous life and should be advertised more clearly as not having its own bathroom. Breakfast was limited.
Location: Location was very good.
Two friends and I booked in in a double and single respectively. The location is convenient for the centre of Brighton and also for the Regency Square car park and is in a characterful old house. However the rooms were basic and the single was tiny and didn't have an en suite bathroom but used one on the landing below with no shower; the booking information to be fair didn't mention en suite but also didn't mention shared bathroom, and although I'm not sure it shared it with another room it was open to the public. I was disappointed with this given what was paid for the room (not much less than the en suite double). The double room was better if small again, with limited facilities. The TV reception was practically non-existent. Breakfast was included but was very limited and slightly odd in its selection. Cereal or toast was fine in concept but plenty of marmite and no honey? An attempt to go a bit continental fell flat as the only bread was pre-sliced packet bread and only one type of ham and one of sliced cheese was offered. Also, request a lower level room if you can't do four flights of steep stairs. Overall, could do with a bit more effort / money spending on it.

Very nice hotel close to beach and town.Posted Oct 12, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, bright and clean rooms, exceptionally convenient location.
Location: Very close to all local amenities, 2 minute walk to the beach, 10 minute walk to town centre. Surrounded by good restaurants and bright, clean streets
Had a 4 person room for the weekend and were given a very friendly welcome by the staff. The room was large, very bright and clean. The room was very quiet, we saw plenty of other quests around the hotel but never heard anyone while in our room and there's no noise from the street which is quiet and a good distance from the main road. The beds are very comfy and warm with good quality bedding, each person had a full size towel and a hand towel which were very soft. The location is exceptional being a very short distance from the beach, pier, town centre and anything else you'd want to visit in Brighton. There's a large, beautiful lawn right outside the hotel with a few benches and a good variety of restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

Good locationPosted Oct 1, 2015
Clean enough, room on 4th floor no lift. Building a little dated. Toilet flushed by itself half the night. Plenty of tea and coffee. Didn't have breakfast but the dining room looked ok. Very informal and fast check in and out. Good for a stay in Brighton on a budget, but if you want any whistles and bells, stay elsewhere.

good location, no parking, poor facilitiesPosted Sep 9, 2015
Cons: - parking - correct description by Expedia
- good location - no parking included (Expedia advised there was an arrangement for parking) - continental breakfast (Expedia advised full breakfast) - very poor bed - very slowly draining shower - 4 stories of stairs with suitcases not ideal for 70+ guests

Dugligt hotell med bra lägePosted Aug 30, 2015 on Hotels

Had to book on really busy, expensive weekend.Posted Jul 5, 2015
This is all that was left for a busy weekend in Brighton. We had 2 adults, 2 kids and so finding a room for all of us in some parts of Europe can be a challenge. Staff and breakfast were fine. Location fine. IF you stay here, make sure that you are not in the basement in the summer, as we were. It was pretty hot and humid down there.

Pubs in Laufweite
Kleine Auswahl, aber alles was man früh braucht. Lage, direkt in Höhe vom alten West Pier.

it was a nice stay, only discomfort was the toilet not included in the room
