It was clean and everything worked--more than I could say for many other more expensive rooms I've stayed in. The shower was exceptionally good. Watch out for the hot water: very hot! The TV had Netflix, Hulu, Roku, & Vudu. And they worked. On the downside, the furnishings and carpet were worn, but not terrible.

I have never bailed on a motel booking. Smelly room, dodgy neighborhood, broken equipment and cig butts everywhere… no way.

Nice older motel, clean and priced reasonably. A place to lay your head and take a shower. Have been 3 times now and they do a great job

Keep your socks on - great for the price!
Our floor was very sticky, so keep your socks on. Everything else was really lovely, for the price we paid. Service was amazing, very kind and accommodating. Bathroom is old, but clean. Beds are comfy. Fridge and microwave are new and useful. If you’re looking for affordable and you won’t spend a lot of time there, Driftwood Inn is perfect.

Back in 15 minutes !?!
Went to check in. Front lobby locked. Sign says “back in 15 minutes”. Check-in after receptionist returns. Go to room. Prepare to take shower and realize there are no towels. Front lobby locked. Sign says “back in 15 minutes”. Go back numerous times over several hours. Front lobby locked. Sign says “back in 15 minutes”. Skip the shower. Next morning go to check out. Front lobby locked. Sign says “back in 15 minutes”.

Room smelled really bad. There was hair in the bathroom and only wiring where the smoke detector used to be. We used our own sheets and opted not to use the shower.

The room was very old looking. Rust in the tub, paint peeling, old furniture. No peep hole on the door. Didn’t seem very secure.

For the price, I guess OK but the place is neglected- broken soap racks in bathroom, and not clean, the previous occupier had spilt coffee on the bedside table that was just left to coagulate. So not an inviting place.

The room was terrible. The area was terrible location. There were no toiletries in the room. We were told by the staff not to be outside late because of the prostitutes and the drug dealers in the area. The doors didnt work right on the room or batroom. Worst hotel ive ever stayed at.

Convenient, quiet, can walk to shopping center. Dog allowed but additional fee. Convenient to walk dog. Only problem was cold. Cold air only so turned off. Only bedspread, no blanket so slept in clothes.

Lovely little inexpensive spot to see the area, and not pay the world, but the room was tired, the door did not work at first and big coffee stains left on bedside table, but then, you are not paying for the Ritz- the staff were friendly and did their best.

We stayed here because it was college family weekend for my daughter. The place was severely run down. We had no place else to stay. Anything in the area was booked weeks ago. With no other option We went to Family dollar and bought Lysol, Clorox wipes, sheets and blankets. The condition of the room was awful. The rooms were dirty and unkept. The bathroom was horrendous. I took a shower with my flip flops on. The covers on the bed were stained and so were the linens. It was an overall bad experience.

It appeared there was a courtyard like area between the two sides of the building, but it was full of trash and mess that was clearly visible from the room.

Bathtub/shower had mildew and some disrepair. Would rather tangle with Bay Bridge traffic everyday than stay here again...

sorry we not reaching your acceptation . we have a coffee in office lobby not in the room . i think lighting is ok . some Costumer doesn’t like to light either . rooms i checked every day but may be i missed something .

Rooms were generally clean, although under the couch cushions were filthy with crayons and bandaids. Overall maintenance wasn't awful, but paint jobs looked poorly done. Showers had great water pressure and temperature was perfect.

Not what I paid for.
I made a reservation for a room with two beds. Upon arrival to the room we noticed only one bed. After much complaining, the manager reluctantly gave us a mattress and one of us had to sleep on the floor.

Sorry for the Huge inconvenience. The week you stayed our motel was fully booked and the extra beds were all given out to other guest because of the triathlon. This will never happen again. Again sorry for the inconvenience.

The rooms where clean and had everything you needed. The only problem is they don’t have what you booked, they clearly overbooked. I paid a reservation for a 2 queen bedrooms room and I got a one bedroom. They still charge me the same and they said my reservation was showing I booked a one bedroom.

Frustrating
We booked through Hotels.com and when we arrived, they had no record of our reservation and no available rooms for us. I spent a very long time on the phone with Hotels.com to ensure I would not be charged a cancellation fee and lost the night I would have earned had we stayed there. Very frustrating.

I showed up at 11:00pm. The duty clerk told me that I did not have a reservation, and that all rooms had been booked. I showed him my expedia reservation, and he said that it had not been received. I ended up sleeping in my car.

Convenient for Rock Hall triathlon event. Quiet (apart from triathletes talking outside). Room was clean and bed comfortable. Room had a microwave and bathroom was in good order.
