great place to stay on Main StreetPosted Aug 11, 2015
Pros: Location, staff, welcome, breakfast, everything was terrific!
Location: Sugarbakers is a short walk away (terrific pastries and coffee), shops on Main Street are one of my favorite reasons to visit Chincoteague.
Excellent location, terrific staff, will stay there again.

Very Nice HotelPosted May 26, 2015
We were lucky to get a room into this hotel during memorial day weekend. This hotel is very clean. Staff is very friendly. I love the fact that it is right at the water front. You can enjoy hot breakfast in the morning on the water front. The hotel was completely sold out, but we never felt like it was crowded. All in all, a nice stay for us.

Very accommodating staffPosted Sep 23, 2014
This was a great place to stay for the weekend, they were very accommodating with a playpen and sheets for our 4 month old. He has a dairy intolerance and the staff at breakfast were very helpful in getting me the ingredients list for several items since I am nursing. The ladies who cleaned the rooms were very friendly, the hotel was nice and close to town and the room was spacious. We had a balcony with water view but it wasn't quite the best view because it looked out on storage sheds and vehicles rather than just the water. The ducks right below were fun to watch with our son. Would stay here again!

Best Hampton Inn we've stayed at.Posted Aug 24, 2014
Location: The Island Creamery, Woody's BBQ, Island Theater, Daisies Island Cruises, Assateague Lighthouse, and National Seashore were all big hits.
Hampton Inn is our go-to family hotel, so we've stayed in a bunch, and several have been really nice. This one is the cleanest, friendliest, most-beautifully set we have stayed at. The view from our balcony was amazing. My 5 year old saw her first jelly fish and dolphins swimming in the channel, from our balcony. The beds were very comfortable - there was even a good night light in the bathroom. The breakfast was very well stocked, well managed, and there was plenty of seating, again, with lovely views. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy Chincoteague Island and Assateague National Seashore.
