Pros: The view from all the rooms are beautiful. Nice view of the bay. Rooms were very spacious and clean.
Cons: Would go back in summer months so able to do the water activities since everything closed too cold and off season.
Location: The hotel itself was in a great location right on Main Street so close to all the restaurants and shops.

Southern Hospitality!

Posted Oct 17, 2016
Location: This is the getaway for laying on the beach, easy hikes, and great wildlife viewing. This is not for you if you want hustle, bustle and nightlife!
We have been visiting Chincoteague for over 30 years, but just started staying here a year ago. LOVE the location because we can easily walk right into town, and our room had a wonderful view of the bay. Special mention to Pinky and Nicole, the breakfast ladies, who are always so gracious and helpful.

Friendly staff. Excellent hot breakfasts. Hotel a bit dated but comfortable. Strong perfumey disinfectant used. Overall okay...wasn't in room much.

A fine place to stay while on the island

Posted Aug 30, 2016
Pros: Convenience
Cons: Carpets need to be cleaned.
Location: Walk to the statue of Misty.
The hotel is fine for the stay on the island. It is well located and has a nice view over the bay. You can see sunsets.

One nite stand

Posted Jul 15, 2016
I was in town for one nite. It was one of the only places available. It's an olDer hotel, but worked just fine for a place to stay. The breakfast is good. The staff was extremely nice!

Great staff

Posted Jul 4, 2016
The motel was clean and the staff was wonderful. They hosted a good hot breakfast. Internet was provided. The rooms have a balcony and nice view that looks out to water to the west. On the down side, it was not a good place for elderly guests. The beds were very high, hence difficult to get into for elderly folks. The rooms had flies in them since their doors open directly to the outside. It also was not a place to check into in the pouring rain. There is no cover to unload the car, so you and your bags get soaked.

Clean and Well Maintained, Great View for launches

Posted Jun 27, 2016
Even though this is an older hotel, it is extremely clean and well maintained. We also had an excellent view for a launch from NASA's Wallops Flight Facility.

Nice hotel. Not too expensive with plenty of space on the rooms and near the center of Chincoteague.

Coffee could have been upgraded but otherwise continental breakfast was fair.
