I booked this property expecting a full private home as advertised, but that was not the case. The owner was living upstairs during our stay, and we could hear footsteps and movement throughout the night. The listing stated it slept six people and had two bedrooms, yet the additional beds were locked in the wall and not available when we arrived. When I asked about it, I was told there had been a misunderstanding because the reservation showed two adults—something that shouldn’t have affected access to the advertised sleeping areas. There were also unexpected and uncomfortable rules in the bathroom and several amenities that didn’t function as expected. The fire pit and outdoor heaters did not work, and although the pool was running, it was too cold outside to enjoy. Even locating the property in the dark was difficult.
