Nice Room

Posted May 21, 2017
Pros: Clean
We arrived late .. was placed in a nice room on the first floor. Everything was clean and comfortable. Helpful. When hair dryer burnt out in first few seconds - they hussled to find us a replacement. I would recommend this hotel.

Not Gr8

Posted May 15, 2017
Pros: There seemed to be plenty of hard working housekeepers, though, and they were seriously appreciated. Cleanest hotel of this quality I've stayed at in.
Cons: no mini fridge, dirty floors in guest laundry, really high vending prices, abysmal coffee, very poor breakfast, towels old & too small, no fridge
Location: Walking distance to drug store, grocery/liquor store, shopping, fast food, local sit-down restaurant, bowling alley, park, water park, library.
Knowing Super 8 isn't a fancy chain, I had appropriate expectations and was pleased that the room had no odors (many hotels of this caliber have strange odors or they smell of smoke from before they switched to non-smoking facilities). My room keys kept de-magnetizing- I was only there for 2 nights & I was met by perturbed, condescending staff who insinuated that I wasn't using/ keeping them properly. I didn't even bother trying to explain that I worked in hospitality & kept them as I should, knew how they worked. That wasn't the point, anyway, I just needed them fixed. This place is woefully understaffed at the desk and service was lacking when available. There seemed to be plenty of hard working housekeepers, though, and they were seriously appreciated. Cleanest hotel of this quality I've stayed at in ages. Other disappointments: no mini fridge (far too many reasons to need one when staying out of town for them to be missing from any room), dirty floors in guest laundry (though machines were in great shape), really high vending prices, absolutely abysmal coffee, poor breakfast selection and little variety. There was a microwave in the breakfast area, so I couldn't be disappointed that there wasn't one in the room, though the absence of fridge space meant one couldn't bring or keep food around to be heated, anyway so the point is moot; towels too small and felt old and scratchy, poor quality travel toiletries that were really small.

Dirty

The room was very dirty and obviously not cleaned before the stay. Dirty sheets the baby found a top to a liquor bottle. Left and complained.

The room itself seemed clean enough, but the halls and facilities could have been cleaner. Also, walls seemed very thin as I could hear other rooms.

It was easy to find and the price was right for the convenience, cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff.

Not the most comfortable

Posted Sep 19, 2016
Lobby floor was dirty when I first walked in. Room carpet was filthy and the room smelled "old". Beds didn't have complete sheet sets and the shower was falling apart. They'll soon have water problems in room 215.
