Perfect base for weekend in Edinburgh

Location excellent for exploring all Edinburgh has to offer, and that's a lot! Communication with front of house was great and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would use again for our next visit to an amazing city.

The apartment was lovely, clean and very comfortable. Location was really good, walking distance to the old part of Edinburgh and very close to public transport. The staff there were always more than happy to help with anything. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily stay there again

It’s close to a lot of the action and within walking distance of quite a few points of interest. The amenities were great too such as a washing/drying machine with instructions. Having two full baths was great

A great place to rest between biking Holidays

Fabio the front reception was very kind and helpful. The apt was just what we needed after a bike and barge holiday. Walking distance to a Sunday mkt to get some prepared fresh food, comfortable bed and living quarters.

Great stay

Stayed 3 nights in September 2023. Staff was so nice and helpful. Showed us all of the features of the room and how to get in and out of the building. Very close to pubs, restaurants, buses, trains Royal Mile and the castle. Would absolutely recommend this hotel and it would be our first choice if e had another trip to Edinburgh.

Wonderful Choice in Edinburgh

This was probably the nicest holiday apartment I have ever stayed in - no exaggeration. It was pretty, very clean, very well-maintained, extremely comfortable (bed, sofa, dining area), the bathroom was great, the climate control was very good, the kitchen was so well-equipped, including a washer/dryer. The location was absolutely wonderful for sightseeing in Edinburgh, with many good restaurants nearby, as well.

I had a pleasant stay at Braid Apartments. The apartment's kitchen was well-equipped for preparing light meals, which I appreciated. One suggestion for improvement would be to include a coffee machine, as I missed having that option. Fortunately, there are plenty of coffee shops and cafes in the area, so it wasn't a major issue. The convenience of having a washer and dryer in the unit was a real plus. Overall, my experience was excellent, and I would consider returning.

Lovely place, amazing staff

The apartment staff called me 2 days before my arrival, to make sure my contact details were correct, and to give me information about how check in would work, and how the codes to access the apartment would be sent. On the day, i was emailed the access codes and informed of my apartment number. When we entered the lobby, we were welcomed by 2 staff members who were very friendly and helpful, offering to take our bags for us, walked us to our apartment and showed us where some key things were in the apartment. Every day we were there, they greeted us and wished us a nice day or to enjoy ourselves. The housekeeper was lovely and even recommended a place for us to have breakfast. Everything was quickly and efficiently sorted. The apartment was so useful, being able to have a sitting room to relax before going to bed was invaluable and the apartment was kept in very good condition. Every day, they performed light housekeeping, which included the bed and cleaning certain areas. We absolutely would come back here again whenever we come back to Edinburgh.

This was the perfect property for 2 people. Kitchen was well-stocked, sofa was comfortable, TV had many channels. Shower was a bit tight, and bed smaller than we expected. It was nice having a washer/dryer in the unit. It is on a quiet side street, only a stone’s throw away from Hanover St. There we found many good restaurants and coffee houses. It is a 5min walk to Princes St, with M&S, a drugstore, other stores, and a ton of bus stops. It is about a 15-20min walk to the Royal Mile. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. It was a bit more expensive than other properties, but we were very pleased. We would stay here again!

Loved the in apt laundry, great layout, full kitchen and elevator (from 1st floor). Location was perfect, loved the digital key which made it so easy to get in. Front desk crew were amazing. Would stay again and recommend.
