"very well placed "
We travelled & stayed in Edinburgh for the 6 Nations Rugby. Having never stayed in Edinburgh we fell on this gem of accommodation that was affordable, clean & central to everywhere that we wanted. Would definitely recommend to anyone. The bed was comfortable as was the bed settee which was actually a single bed with a full single bed underneath so our 1 bedroom accommodation was comfortable for 4 adults

"Convenient Apartments close to many attractions"
We stayed for 3 nights (weekend) in Nov 2016 and found it a great place to stay. The staff were great and helpful. The location was very convenient for tourists to access nearby attractions. The apartment we had was very spacious and had a lot of features, including a dishwasher and washer/dryer. We were provided a welcome pack on arrival with a number of breakfast type items including bread, cereal, etc. We only needed to get a couple of items from the nearby store to have enough for our breakfasts for our stay (3 mornings). It is possible to hear street noise from the apartments, but at least for us, it was not at such a level to disturb us. Note that we were on a high level floor, so that might have helped. We were driving, so the secure car park was a great benefit. The streets in this part of Edinburgh are a bit of a rabbit warren, so it can be a tricky to get into the parking at first as it's on a one way side street to the main hotel entrance door which itself is on another one way street (so you may have to loop around to get to the parking). I recommend parking the car at the apartments and either walking or using public transport within the city. If we have the chance to go back to Edinburgh, we are highly likely to use these apartments again for our stay.

"Excellent stay for the Rugby"
Excellent hotel, we had a club room which was very comfortable (I personally hate very soft pillows so asked for firm pillows on our second night which was no problem). Breakfast good and swimming pool and changing room facilities brilliant and very clean. All staff friendly and helpful. Easy journey into city centre by bus (no 37, 19 or 47) for £4 for a day ticket. Large free car park area if you have a vehicle. We had dinner in the urban bar and grill on our first night which was delicious. The bar next to the restaurant was busy too with comfortable lounge style seating. Would definitely stay again. Taxi to airport around £20.

"Really good hotel"
We stayed in a two level suite with two bathrooms a lounge and work station. Very large bed extremely comfortable. Very friendly staff and excellent spa facilities. Had a lovely meal in hotel restaurant and a good breakfast. Only downside is it is slightly remote so if you don't drive there the taxis can be expensive into Edinburgh central. Overall though a really good hotel and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

"Lovely weekend break."
Beautiful hotel in lovely surroundings. The hotel reception staff were very warm and welcoming. The double room was clean and cosy. The staff within house keeping were very cheerful and couldn't do enough for you. The health club and spa are brilliant. There is something for everyone whether you like golfing, tennis or just walking in the beautiful surroundings. The breakfast catered for everyone and there was plenty of variety. The only down side was the restaurant within the country club. This was less formal however the food is not as good. We ordered steak, which was £24.00 each, to find it was not cooked nor very good quality. We did complain to the waiter that it was not cooked properly and the meat was tough. The waiter did take this back to the kitchen for it to return to us obviously been put in the microwave and not a sign of the waiter after this to ask if everything was ok. We spent £86.00 on two mains one bottle of wine. Not cheap so expect it to be at least edible.
