This is not a hotel it is a guest house. The stay was marred by the attitude of the Landlady. She is out to make as much additional income as she can in a covert way. She has a no smoking policy, which is fine.
We did not smoke in the room, but she accused us of doing so, resulting in an argument.
Another guest was moved to a different room because a person that had booked a single room was deemed by the landlady to be too large for the room - imagine the embarrassment for that person. The room had two double beds and the landlady said that if the second bed was used the they would be charged an additional £20.00 per night.
The heating in the room was dubious, either boiling hot or freezing cold and the radiator clicked.
The bathroom was a cupboard and the water pressure was very poor.
The breakfast was good.
The location is good, with good public transport links.
There are far more comfortable places to stay for the money. I would avoid this guest house unless you are desperate.
