The staff were super friendly and helpful! Close to the Royal Mile. Take the St.Andrew Square tram stop to make the short 10 minute walk to the hotel.

Overall, not overly impressed with my stay here. Half the place was a building site, did not receive my reimbursement for £40 that I paid as a deposit and ordered food to the hotel after a night out which staff refused to deliver to the room. 4/10

I must say except for that staff who were all very nice and helpful I was very dissatisfied with the hotel. The main reason is that the whole lobby area was under construction and I was not informed about this before hand. This really annoyed me. Also the room we were given first was very small for 4 people but the front desk did take care of that in the end. And funny enough I overheard in elevators at least 3 other people saying they had to change rooms. The area where the hotel is located was perfect one of the reasons I picked it but for the amount of money paid a night and the fact that it was under construction really annoyed me. If I was at least told then it was my decision to stay there or not.

Great Location great staff.
Great location, friendly staff, nice rooms. The hotel is having some renovations so not all areas are done yet but the staff is very friendly, nice bar and great breakfast. Would defently stay again.

I travel a lot for business and I must say this was my worst hotel experience in years. I arrived in Edinburgh late after a 12 hour delayed train journey. On arrival at the hotel the doors were shut. I rang the bell repeatedly for 10 minutes, no answer. I then tried to phone various numbers to get some attention. Eventually I got through to someone at another location who spent another 10 minutes trying to get someone to let me in. Finally the doors opened after 20 minutes standing in the cold after midnight. The hotel manager looked inconvenienced at my arrival at offered no apology whatsoever. I can only imagine I disturbed either his sleep or something else entirely

Get used to dirty glasses and silverware in your room in the name of saving water. Its anyones guess whether or not the glass youre drinking out of had been properly cleaned before you picked it up. Our experience was that the glass and silverware in the rooms were merely wiped down with a rag.....clean or not. A dirty QTip was on the bathroom floor from the minute we walked into the bathroom. It was never picked up in the three days housekeeping allegedly cleaned up each day. Coffee creamer in the room was so old it resembled yogurt. When the front desk was talked to about this, she acknowledged that the glassware was just wiped down. Hopefully the previous renter didnt have covid or TB. Bottom line...the rooms are a petri dish and you get what you get.

Friendly service at front desk, bar and restaurant. Particularly Adam. Every person who served us went above and beyond to be accommodating and pleasant. We liked the menu both at the breakfast and at supper. Quiet retreat after sight-seeing.
